Galatasaray has won title with historical 102 points.
Galatasaray has won its 24th league title in history of Super League during 2024-25 season with record breaking 102 points with only losing 2 games as it has provided full strong concentration at the field.
It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray during most amount of time during this season has been concentrated into field and aiming to get some good performances and as always side which has been most calm and not scandalous with statements did get glory at the end of the season especially taking account that it was tough decision to achieve that as there was lots of tension on and outside of the field. There were times when Galatasaray didnt show its best performance and even times when Fenerbahce has been better side on the field but it did winning run when it needed most with getting confident results at the last weeks and aiming for title.
Galatasaray without doubt wanted to win 2nd season back-to-back and has done anything to achieve that and it managed with 3 points advantage over Fenerbahce.
Okan Buruk took leading role at all aspects in the team.
Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has continued with his confidence and focussed performance during this season as was last case which has been without doubt one of the main reasons for title.
Knowing directly what kind of game both club and fans are awaiting from club and him as he was also playing at club in 1990s has provided right actions both prior to game and during this game for most amount of time. Focussing at creating team which would be highly concentrated and give everything to win every single game whole season, he did take away from squad and games players who didnt tactically and mentally be able to fulfill that aim. It is expected that Okan Buruk would extend his contract for another year with 50 million TL value is being discussed at media.
Muslera and Icardi take lion share of this title for sure
Whole squad at the team did show outstanding performance which led for Galatasaray to win title but without doubt 2 players has taken lion share as their located at both ends of the field.

With both players very likely staying in the league next week, Galatasaray would continue to be tough team to beat in next season.
