Besiktas has ended season with Turkish Cup and has forgiven partly from its supporters for this season.
Besiktas has won Turkish Cup 2023-24 season with 3:2 scoreline thanks to the last minute goal of Al Musrati as team did get well-deserved win and had a good ending and did get European spot as it did get play-off round qualification for Europa League.
It has been known that Besiktas has been taken Turkish Cup very seriously since it has been getting far from Super League title and this has been specifically clear during this Turkish Cup final despite of fact that it didnt have very good start of the game and did concede during 1st minutes of the game. However, after conceding goal and also decline of control which has been shown from Trabzonspor it has shown good comeback to the game as it did get ahead on 54th minute. Only downside has been for Besiktas that it did show some decline of performance in the end of the game as it did concede goal from Pepe but did show good recovery after that and did crucial goal on last minute of the game from great shot from Al Musrati.
Hence, Besiktas did really want to win this game and has shown that with good and confident win against Trabzonspor and did save its season in the eyes of its supporters.
Trabzonspor didnt show needed reaction after getting ahead at the final game.
Without doubt, Trabzonspor did have a good start of the game as it did control game and did get ahead thanks to the great goal from Paul Onuachu but after that in interesting manner it started to focus to defending scoreline.
Rather than rising tempo of the game and getting more possession, it just did opposite against Besiktas which did take game seriously and were expected to give their best for winning this important game. Trabzonspor didnt provide good reaction in the 2nd half as it entered to changing room with draw as players didnt provide needed dominant game and also Abdullah Avci did fail to make some important changes at the field. Only positive matter has been for finding goal just before end of 90 minutes but in same time didnt defend rightly at additional time which led them to lose game.
Trabzonspor without doubt would need to get lessons with this performance but it should be satisfied to end league at 3rd spot and enter to Europa League.
Dursun Ozbek is being clear favourite at Galatasaray CEO election.
Galatasaray are getting ready to the CEO election which would be taking place between Dursun Ozbek and Suheyl Batum where current CEO Ozbek would be coming out as clear favourite.
Even through it could be mentioned that there is some CEO campaign between two as both do criticise each other in some matters, it could be stated certainly that Dursun Ozbek does come out as clear favourite with taking account how he manages club as he did win title in previous season and just being 1 point far from winning this season and there is also some successful actions which been made from Ozbek in last 2-years.
