What happened in Turkish football today? 25/05/2024

Galatasaray and Konyaspor would come out to game where draw would be enough for both.

All of the eyes during last week of the 2023-24 season would be given to the Konyaspor and Galatasaray game as draw would be enough for both sides as former would secure their spot at top league while Galatasaray would be winning title in the end of the day.

Without doubt, factor that draw would be enough for both side could have an impact into how both sides would be performing at the field as Galatasaray would be aiming to get at least draw, even through it has been stated several times that draw would be enough. However, it needs to be mentioned that both sides could be playing for a win at least during for 1 win as even through draw would be enough for both sides, loss would cost Galatasaray title and with other results leading for Konyaspor to be relegated and hence there is good possibility that both sides would be providing good attacking game and lead for an early goal. Galatasaray has also come out with little stress as it didnt provide strong dominant game before last week against Fatih Karagumruk and also lost to Galatasaray but still everything is being on hand of Galatasaray.

Galatasaray and Konyaspor would be coming out to game where draw would be enough for both sides and it would be interesting to see how both sides would approach to this during game.

Fenerbahce would be more focussed into game against Galatasaray rather than to Istanbulspor. 

Fenerbahce would be coming out against side which has been arleady been relegated for long time period and since then didnt win game so win for them would be almost certain. 

Hence, to all respect to relegated Istanbulspor, Fenerbahce should be able to fulfill its part of job without much issues and in fact would be expected to find an early goal or two and hence even through Fenerbahce players wouldnt have much issues its motivation and spirit would be dominated from Konyaspor and Galatasaray as side could provide much more attacking game if Konyaspor gets ahead and slow down and show ineffective game if vice versa happens. Therefore, Fenerbahce will win but character performance is related to game of the leaders.

Fenerbahce would be hoping for miracle to happen at another game and celebrate title in the end of the day but it would be difficult task for them without doubt. 

Kasimpasa will play for European spots while playing against Besiktas

Turkish Cup winners Besiktas would be coming out to its last game of the season against Kasimpasa which would be playing for win to get European spots and hence would be more favourite.

Since Besiktas has secured Europa League play-off round game it would not be taking its aim to end possibly at 4th spot as it wont provide any advantage apart of some extra cash for bonuses from TFF regarding where it ends season while Kasimpasa would be coming out to secure its spot for European football next season and hence would be more favourite and closer for win without doubt.

Besiktas with also celebrating would be not much concentrated to this game while Kasimpasa would give all attention against Istanbul giants.
