Trabzonspor starts Turkish Cup journey with confident win against Corum
Trabzonspor starts its Turkish Cup campaign with a win against 1st league opponent Corum with 3:1 scoreline as it has shown confident performance at the tournament which it would be likely take very seriously due of getting far from leadership race in the league.
As was expected, Trabzonspor has went through some crucial changes in the starting 11 as team has started game mainly with youngsters and generally 2nd squad as those players did get good opportunity to show themselves and it could be stated that it did achieve that in good manner especially strong willingness has been shown from Fountas who has found a goal on 3rd minute. It could be noted that possibly due of belief that it would be taking win against Corum it did show some reduction of control of the game and has conceded goal on 16th minute but this conceded goal has been waking up call as it did find 2nd goal after 3rd minute and after that has played in its own tempo and not letting Corum to show much attacking game. Trabzonspor at short in general did come out as favourite and has performed like that.
It needs to be stated that Corum does provide performance better than was expected at 1st league and did provide performance according to that against Trabzonspor. Even through it was clear that its not in same level as Trabzon, it did try to show some resistance which it did manage to some extend.
Hence, Trabzonspor did start its campaign at Turkish Cup with good win and it would be expecting to provide some good performance in this competition in upcoming games.
Fenerbahce supporters would be able to go to Besiktas derby game.
It has been announced that Fenerbahce supporters would be allowed to enter to Besiktas stadium for Super League 15th week derby game against Besiktas as away fans bans ban is being lifted during this season.
It needs to be mentioned that so far this lifted ban has been in case at derby game between Galatasaray and Besiktas among other games which has been played in heated conditions between supporters and so far apart of small issues there hasnt been any fighting between supporters and hence so far this decision has been going well without doubt. With such important game for both sides, even through with slightly different aims, there is possibility for tension between supporters to be rising so its important for supporters to stay calm and not fall for some actions which could be rising between supporters.
Therefore role of the supporters is being very important here and they are taking an important role here without doubt for 90 minutes.
Fabio Cannavaro is being main priority for head coach role.
Following termination of contract with Patrick Kluivert due of unsuccessful results in recent weeks, Adana Demirspor is currently looking for new coach, preferably foreign coach with Fabio Cannavaro being priority for right now.
With Murat Sancak being on CEO position, team has been looking for big names during his reign and it does look like he would be searching for another big name this one targeted being Fabio Cannavaro. Stating that, it needs to be mentioned that so far Sancak has been looking for names who have written into football history as players and dont have much experience or successes as coaches and Fabio Cannavaro could be among them. Stating that, this could be good opportunity for Cannavaro if he would be appointed to have good experience with pretty strong squad and mark his word not only in Turkey but raise interest towards him in the Europe if he would be successful.
It is expected for Adana Demirspor to make deal with their coach candidates for long time as it been mentioned Cannavaro is being main priority.
