Kayserispor becomes 1st finalist to the Turkish Cup.
Kayserispor has got into Turkish Cup final with showing incredible fight during semi-final 2nd leg game against Trabzonspor with winning 4:2 on this game and getting aggregate scoreline of 4:2, without giving up during 90 minutes.
It needs to be mentioned that Kayserispor did come out with high concentration to the game and in fact with conceding goal on 3rd minute from penalty kick which been converted by Anthony Nwakaeme, Kayserispor has stayed high focus for this game and has shown strong attacking game which been turned into goal from Emre Bassan. It needs to be admitted that Trabzonspor didnt provide its strongest performance as signs of being relaxed from getting title in few weeks ago, but still Kayserispor did show performance that it highly deserved this won as it showed that it wanted to win this game with how it performed for 90 minutes. Kayserispor meanwhile has won in previous rounds Besiktas and Fenerbahce and has become nighmare of big clubs in Turkish Cup.
On their part, Trabzonspor did look to be more or less passive and apart of some short moment during 2nd half did fail to get control of the game and hence didnt provide much dangerous moments to Kayserispor goal. In fact, with finding an early penalty goal on 3rd minute it would be naturally to expect for them to provide much more controlled and motivational game but it didnt manage to do so. It does look like celebration of the league title did affect negatevily on psychology of side as it didnt show enough concentration especially when taking account that its opponent is being strong and confident side with showing good performance at Turkish Cup. It was known that Trabzonspor did want double a lot, but it didnt show much on tonight's game.
Kayserispor hence becomes 1st finalist of the Turkish Cup with showing strong and confident performance with dominance while Trabzonspor did look pretty dissapointing.
Sivasspor can concentrate strongly when it matters.
2nd semi-final game 2nd leg game would be played between Sivasspor and Alanyaspor as Sivasspor would be coming out to the game with 1:0 advantage at the away game against opponent.
It needs to be mentioned that Sivasspor is only having possibility to get to the European football if it would win Turkish Cup as it did find itself far from 4th and 5th place and hence would be coming out to the game accordingly. It does have mixing performance in the recent weeks and its tough to predict if it would keep its advantage at performance wise. Stating that, it does have quality players which are at least in same level as Alanyaspor players and if they would be rightly focussed to the game, they could get good results. In addition, without doubt Sivasspor head coach Riza Calimbay is being coach which could motivate players for the game.
Sivasspor does come out to the game with 1:0 advantage but it would be still tough game as Alanyaspor capable to comeback and Sivasspor needs to be aware of this.
Alanyaspor would aim to show comeback against Sivasspor
Even through it is being on edge for Alanyaspor regarding of Conference League ticket for Alanyaspor, it still has mathematical chances to get there but it would like to compete at Europa League more likely.
Alanyaspor it needs to be mentioned did look pretty passive during 1st leg game without providing too much pressure to Sivasspor so it needs to improve that performance. In addition, it needs to be mentioned that Alanyaspor is being on slightly decline as entering to last games of the season, but as with case with Sivasspor there is high possibility that team would provide focus to this game especially when it needs to find at least 1 goal without conceding for extra time. Alanyaspor have similar squad and strength to opponent, but being behind it needs to provide much more pressure compare to Sivasspor.
Alanyaspor is being side which would be aiming to show comeback with high tempo if it wants to get to final of the Turkish Cup.
