Fenerbahce got an important point for 2nd spot.
Fenerbahce has become more advantageous with 1:1 draw against Besiktas during derby game as it got extra point for 2nd place which would bring them to Champions League but its they did look to be passive for most amount of the game.
It needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce did look to be passive during whole game even through it did start game well with aggressive game and also towards end of the game with looking for opportunities. But apart of that duration of the minutes, Fenerbahce did fail to provide strong attacking game with pressure and did focus game mainly into defensive and midfielding area which been pretty far from dominant game which it shown in recent weeks. It needs to be mentioned that high tension which been present in the start of the game has been also controlled pretty well from Fenerbahce as it found goal during that period. Still, Fenerbahce did get an important point against Besiktas with having some absences on the field.
Fenerbahce hence did get an important point and rose point difference from Konyaspor to 4 points with opponent having game in hand.
Besiktas did lose 2 points both to performance and its aims in league.
On other side of the coin, 1 point for Besiktas would be seen loss of 2 points as it lost chances for 4th spot due of head to head with Basaksehirspor and made difficult for 5th spot which would be Conference League if Trabzonspor wins Turkish Cup.
It needs to be mentioned that Besiktas did look to be better side on the field and did deserve win more than Fenerbahce but still didnt dominant game and without doubt could be showing much more stronger and confident performance with stronger creativity. Michy Batshuayi not converting goal from penalty kick did reach once again criticism towards him and which led for Valentin Ismael to change penalty-tacker to Racchid Ghezzal on 2nd penalty kick which he did converted and bring point. Besiktas still has issues with converting its opportunities which seems to be number one focus for them during summer transfer window without them.
Besiktas still fights for 5th spot which could be Conference League ticket but there are lots of factors which needs to go for them within 2 weeks.
Kayserispor is expected to provide issues to Trabzonspor during Turkish Cup game.
Trabzonspor is going to return Turkish Cup for 2nd leg game against Kayserispor which it won at home with 1:0 scoreline during 1st leg as it currently focuses to get double in the end of the season.
With Trabzonspor spending almost longer than week for celebration of its league title after 38 years, it would be interesting to see if it would gain focus for Turkish Cup once again as Kayserispor does show good performance against top clubs especially in the club, as 1:0 scoreline is being result which could be turned around despite of strong advantage for Trabzonspor. Hence it would be expected for Trabzonspor to have some tough moments, as Kayserispor would be aiming to bring game to extra-time at least. Trabzonspor does have some injured players prior to game which could also affect to their performance negatively. But still it is expected for Trabzonspor to be fully focussed and strong motivated to get into final of the competition after winning league title.
Trabzonspor does look to be favourite and more motivated but Kayserispor is expected to provided some pressure on this game.
