Galatasaray gets 1 point against Alanyaspor.
Galatasaray 1:1 draw against in-form Alanyaspor and did provide some signs of improvement from previous weeks but still didnt get win with Gabriel Torrent in his 4th game as being head coach of the side and currently being 3 points from relegation zone.
It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray did treat this game as opportunity to have new beginning both with getting results and providing some more convincing games and even through it did manage to get important 1 point from tough opponent like Alanyaspor, it still didnt look very creative and confident when coming to the attack, showing low opportunities and chances. Even through it does need to be mentioned that fast reaction from conceded goal on 39th minute from Eduardo as it did find goal with Kerem Akturkoglu on 41st minute should be seen as positive aspect. In fact, when taking account that Galatasaray did play with extra men for 20 minutes and not still finding winning goal does show issues which it has at attack. Coming to 1st game of Inaki Pena, it needs to be mentioned that he did show good performance with having some crucial saves.
Alanyaspor did provide good performance against opponent which is struggling but currently looks way to get further from relegation zone so it could be noted it did provide good performance but needed to be more careful after scoring.
Galatasaray, due of their conditions, did get good results against team which are being currently in better form then them but when looking on table it will not be necessarily with point.
Besiktas dominated game but couldnt score.
Super League 24th week game between Besiktas and Antalyaspor has ended with goalless draw despite of the fact that Besiktas has dominated game with creating high number of opportunities especially during 2nd half.
It needs to be mentioned that Besiktas did provide strong and attacking game during whole game, with especially 2nd half but couldnt find goal due of confident and strong performance of Antalyaspor goalkeeper Boffin who made crucial saves and in addition to this Besiktas did get into high number of posts as this result could provide some damage for Conference League spots. Therefore, with Besiktas providing good performance willingness to win game and also showing spirit for win, to some extend its been unlucky however this been 2nd game back to back where Besiktas didnt struggle to score with high amount of opportunities which does show that side does have issues with converting goals which could be due of issues with last touches or creativity but more into providing needed shots which does look to be area to be worked on by Onder Karaveli.
Antalyaspor meanwhile did provide mostly into defensive game without providing too much attacking game and should be thankful for great performance of the Boffin as Antalyaspor did get important point to stay in the league.
Besiktas continues to create opportunities but does have some issues with converting opportunities which could lead them losing points in upcoming weeks too.
Trabzonspor has some decline even through it did get win.
Trabzonspor continues getting winning result and keeps 9 point difference with Konyaspor with having an extra hand but it needs to be mentioned that it didnt provide very good performance against Kasimpasa during 2nd half.
Even through Trabzonspor did get back-to-back wins and still looks to be closest side for title with 14 games left in the season, there is signs of decline with its performance which been present in recent weeks which could be due of lack of concentration or starting getting pressure when getting close to title aims. It needs to be mentioned that to some extend there been lucky with getting such result as Kasimpasa didnt convert high number of opportunities during game without converting some of the key opportunities even through it did get some opportunity to find goal when hitting to post. This been important win and motivational boost prior to game against Konyaspor next week but it needs to be aware that there is decline with performance.
Trabzonspor did get one step closer to title but performance wise there is some warning signs which it needs to be aware of.
