Trabzonspor are through with tough win against Denizlispor.
Trabzonspor gets to quarter-final of the Turkish Cup after beating 2nd division opponent Denizlispor but it needs to be mentioned it wasnt easy win for league leaders as Denizlispor provided strong resistance to the side.
Trabzonspor did come out to the game with some players which didnt recieve lots of playing time mainly due of tough upcoming game in the league against Konyaspor as Trabzonspor did provide some attacking game. In fact, things did go well as been planned for them as their found good goal with Huseyin Turkmen on 8th minute however without finding 2nd goal for rest of the half, did kept Denizlispor which did come with some confidence with beating Galatasaray on previous round which did pay out as their found important goal with Cecenoglu. Without doubt, Trabzonspor didnt want to go to extra time which led them providing some more opportunities in organised manner and did found winning goal from Kouassi who did score his 1st goal for his new team and hence without doubt did get important confidence for upcoming weeks.
Denizlispor did come as would be expected as underdogs to the game but it have confidence from beating Galatasaray on previous round and it did look like to be case with providing brave game being almost close to extra time. Despite of being relegated, Denizlispor could be satisfied with its performance in this competition.
Trabzonspor are through to quarter-final with beating Denizlispor and now as side would be aiming for sure to the double in the end of hte season.
Fenerbahce continues its poor performance at Turkish Cup.
Fenerbahce has been relegated from Turkish Cup last 16 with losing to Kayserispor by conceding at the last minute from Ramazan Civeli while playing with extra men for 2nd half.
Fenerbahce continues providing very poor performance during this season as this time it did lose to Kayserispor even through its been side which did control 1st half and dominated 2nd half but does seem to be having similar issue which does Besiktas have with converting opportunities with attackers. Even through to some extend situation is even worser with them, since Besiktas does provide some shots to the goal for most amount of time with having converting issue while Fenerbahce have issues to even get higher shots into goal. It was observed that Fenerbahce been provided some performance where it seeked some opportunities but it needs to be mentioned that Kayserispor did focus, quite rightly, into defensive and organised game and through bit of luck did find goal in the last minute with Civelek, and even through it did look like Fenerbahce deserved it more when looking into organisation its been deserved win for Kayserispor.
Fenerbahce continues providing poor game and has ended its season at least domestically with getting only way to get some title in ineffective manner.
Besiktas likely would focus to score against Goztepe
Besiktas would be getting back to Turkish Cup with pretty tough opponent Goztepe as side does provide some good performance while for Besiktas this competition in similar manner as was for Fenerbahce is being only tournament to end with title.
Besiktas it needs to be mentioned also doesnt have high conversation rate of scoring its opportunities during previous 2 games and would without doubt be focussed to solve such issue however it needs to be mentioned that Goztepe during recent games does provide strong defensive organised game as it became strong confident side and hence this task would be pretty difficult to achieve for Besiktas. It would be also interesting to see if Besiktas would provide different focus into Turkish Cup as it does to Super League as this is being only option for them to end season with title.
Besiktas would be having tough opponent but there is expectation that they would be giving strong focus to the game.
