Fenerbahce didnt provide enough pressure to Slavia Prague.
Fenerbahce has lost 1st leg game against Slavia Prague at Conference League 2nd round game with 2:3 scoreline with conceding very simple goals and overall didnt fulfill expectations even through its not big surprise of this outcome.
It needs to be mentioned that to some extend Fenerbahce has been side which started game much more confident and stronger with controlling ball and creating some opportunities which led for Slavia Prague to provide defensive and low tempo game. However, as game progressed tempo in overall been reduced with Fenerbahce being side which did lose its control of the game and with such performance it did led for Slavia Prague to get more control of the game and started looking for opportunities to which Fenerbahce didnt respond well as conceded goals been come from defensive mistakes, with 2nd goal been mainly of Altay Bayindir. Still, Fenerbahce player Fedi Kadioglu did get important goal on 83rd minute with providing focussed performance in attack and strong shot, but rather then raising tempo after 3:2 game continued in-between until final whistle.
Without doubt, Slavia Prague would be satisfied with this result despite of no away goal rule as getting important win at difficult away game and would be looking forward in upcoming weeks game at Prague.
Fenerbahce did create some opportunities during 90 minutes but still didnt look to be providing enough pressure towards Slavia Prague but once again this performance should not be seen as surprise due of recent results and performance in this season.
Pasquele Sensible has been appointed as Galatasaray sports director.
Galatasaray administrator Ozgur Kalelioglu has announced that club has appointed Italian Pasquele Sensible as new sports director as club aims to focus into younger players.
With Galatasaray having very poor season right now and only being 3 point above of the relegation zone, there are plans not to repeat such mistakes with much more focus into squad for upcoming season due of some mistakes into structuring it and hence it did decide to appoint Pasquele Sensible with suggestion from Luis Campos, with building much more competitive side which would make young players who would have high potential and expected to be sold to big clubs across Europe. There is some hope with Sensible appointment in the club but it needs to be mentioned that experience of foreign sports director hasnt been great in recent years and Galatasaray would hope it would not be similar with Pasquele Sensible.
Therefore, there are lots of expectation with Sensible as club would be building side for the future and club would hope to make much more competitive side for upcoming season.
