Turkey has got well-deserved win against Holland in World Cup 2022 qualifier opening game.
Turkish National Team did start its World Cup 2022 qualiifer campaign at very confident manner with getting confident win against Holland with showing upper hand whole game apart of period of 74th-76th minute.
Without doubt this win would play very important role for World Cup 2022 as at first it did win its opening game against one of its main opponents for top 2 spots, as top side would get direct entry while 2nd spot would be going to play-off round. Turkish National Team did start game with full control of it and has been mainly focussed not into tempo but with showing controlling and confident performance in tactically without letting opponent to get into high possession and creating opportunities. Burak Yilmaz with scoring hat-trick and also providing great performance for 90 minutes with creating opportunities and taking role as most experienced player on the field in great manner. Only issue which could be criticised from Turkey has been for loss of concentration following 1st goal of Klaassen, with conceding 2nd goal which could bring some nervous last minutes of the game but great goal from Burak Yilmaz from free-kick did provide well-deserved for Turkey with showing high-level performance, which did come for high number of performance playing at top league.
When looking at Holland perspective, it is true that Turkey did prevent it to show great game but still Holland did look pretty ineffective and apart of 74-76th minutes and few other moments didnt provide much pressure to Turkey game. This result in their perspective would led them to go through such poor game.
Turkey did get very important win with showing high-level performance with providing very important signs that side could get win against Norway and aim for top spot in whole campaign.
Besiktas has recieved FFP fine from UEFA.
UEFA has announced that Besiktas didnt fulfill its FFP guidelines of reporting its amount of debts on 30th September and hence would recieve partial fine which would be reducing its payment from its competitions of next season by 15%.
Without doubt, FFP guidelines continue to be problematic for Turkish clubs as Besiktas did recieve this fine which would certainly affect side as all clubs are in big difficult economical condition due of high debts which in return did recieve such UEFA decision. Even through Covid19 pandemic without doubt did affect to economical conditions not only of Turkish clubs, but all clubs around world, throwing blame on this is not right decision as Besiktas did have debt issue before virus. In fact, there is likely Besiktas would recieve this fine without pandemic but seriousness of debt would be lower for sure. With UEFA making clear that if Besiktas manages to prove of not doing any wrongdoing until 30th June, fine would be lifted which hence provides openness to go to CAS in such period.
Besiktas which did make any statement that there is no issue, would be for sure going to CAS where it would be aiming to defend its case.
Abdulkerim Bardakci has been taken to Turkish National Team squad due of Nazim Sangare injury
Konyaspor player Abdulkerim Bardakci has been called to Turkish National Team in place of Nazim Sangare in place of injured Nazim Sangare who has been taken away from squad.
Abdulkerim Bardakci has been called following injury of Nazim Sangare as player did provide pretty good performances at Konyaspor at recent period but it is very unlikely to recieve any playing time apart of possibly in the end of the game according to circumstances since he would not be seen in the level to play in such level yet for sure.
