Fenerbahce didnt show anything for side which fights for title.
Fenerbahce has got totally unexpected loss to last-place Genclerbirligi with 2:1 during Super League with providing very poor performance with its lead to very poor game both at performance and tactically.
With Fenerbahce coming to game which it couldnt be even to draw against opponent which didnt win for 11 games and apart of finding goals actually played not to lose rather then win, with such performance could be accessible. Losing its 6th game at home ground, which is being worst record per season in history of the club, has been another factor for which CEO Ali Koc would be remembered and continues not showing very good performance. Most interesting aspect been for side with showing not very bad game during scoreline of 0:0 but when scoring it start getting worser with lacking to show any comeback. Such performance, especially at home will not bring title and even through mathematically its still at title race, realistically its low chance. Fenerbahce would now play game against Besiktas on 21st March where win would keep some hope for title, while loss would definitely mean this aim would be over.
Such game is not expectable from Fenerbahce as it did end another season with title aims more or less with 10 games still to play.
Trabzonspor lost concentration as Besiktas is getting further from them.
Trabzonspor has drawn against Erzurumspor with goalless draw as side getting further from Besiktas with losing points does get less and less motivated for title spot with providing pretty passive game.
Regardless how much Trabzonspor head coach Abdullah Avci and CEO Ahmet Agaoglu that their dont focus into point differences in the league, this is visible being wrong from recent games at least from players perspective. Getting further for its aim for title and in fact to top 2 spots, provides negative impact to Trabzonspor players without providing too much pressure in the front as Erzurumspor in fact created much better opportunities but did lack crucial last touches. Only issue for Trabzonspor is to regain once again as it could be losing European spot as Alanyaspor is getting closer to them for 4th spot and could use advantage from opponent losing points.
Trabzonspor hence are in decline both with performance and mentally and without doubt it needs to turn around this for last 10 games.
Basaksehirspor could show more resistance during cup game compare to league game.
Besiktas and Basaksehirspor, following goal duello between both sides in Super League, would be meeting once again at Turkish Cup at game which promises to be equally exciting.
In fact, Basaksehirspor could be even more motivated to this game as it is one step behind of Turkish Cup final which could be seen as much more aim than league even through there is still close to danger zone, while Besiktas does realistically focus into ending this season with double. With Besiktas is expected more or less to show similar positive game against Basaksehirspor, Basaksehirspor could be showing much more attacking game compare to league game as even through it did show great game in that one, it did lack in some moments of confidence.
There is no quarantee that cup would be in same quality level as league game, but both sides would certainly give performance with focus to win.
