Fenerbahce has shown confident game against Trabzonspor
Despite of heavy criticism towards Fenerbahce head coach Erol Bulut during whole past week which included calls to resign him, he and whole club were able to provide strong confident performance against Trabzonspor and stay behind league leaders Galatasaray 3 points.
It needs to be noted that without doubt whole game did go into control of Fenerbahce with providing much stronger dangerous positions and did provide strong defensive game with preventing opponent to get into good opportunities even when it controlled ball in last minutes of the game as Trabzonspor looked for point. With opponent goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir being best player, it did need to be something special from Fenerbahce to find goal which did come from great shot from distance by Dimitrios Pelkas who did show his importance for the club without doubt when taking account that in overall he did show good game. Even through Pelkas has been star of whole game, in overall everyone at Fenerbahce did show great game with playing crucial role to get needed result which it was seeking for.
This win without doubt would provide also needed relaxation of situation to Erol Bulut as community will not provide pressure to him at least until Antalyaspor game.
Trabzonspor didnt show much during whole game.
Trabzonspor which did come out to this game in less feeling pressure despite of its condition in the league, didnt provide its usual performance with looking to be lack of concentration and tempo.
With good performance of opponent defence, Trabzonspor on their part didnt provide much alternative creative game especially during 1st half as Fenerbahce didnt only posses ball but also been one to create opportunities. Without doubt, biggest dissapointing has been Bakasetas who didnt even create opportunities and tend to be far away from midfielding position. To some extend, this outcome did come from level of players as Fenerbahce does have stronger squad compare to Trabzonspor and this factor let amount of opportunities from both side. Taking account that similar performance been shown at Galatasaray game, it does look that Trabzonspor is not on level to fight for title race in the end of the season.
This loss does put Trabzonspor for its aim to get title to difficulty, but it doesnt need to continue like its at race with 14 games left until end of the season.
Besiktas is likely to meet again with closed defence against Yeni Malatyaspor.
With top 3 clubs without doubt cant be affording to lose any points for title race, Besiktas would be seeking to continue its winning streak with Yeni Malatyaspor which would be played at problematic field condition.
Without providing too much effort against Denizlispor winning game with 3:0 scoreline did provide advantage for Yeni Malatyaspor, since it would not be coming to game at difficult condition but it should be aware that despite of not great condition it would be tough game both in sense of football field condition and opponent trying to show positive football. Saying that, it would be expected that Yeni Malatyaspor could provide strong defensive game which continues to be issue for Besiktas which was even visible against Denizlispor prior to 1st goal, with Yeni Malatyaspor doing it even possibly more organised manner.
With Besiktas main issue seems to be closed defence, it is likely that Yeni Malatyaspor and upcoming opponents would use this weapon against them.
