Basaksehirspor gets to semi-final with beating Fenerbahce.
Basaksehirspor has reached to Turkish Cup quarter-final game against Fenerbahce with 2:1 scoreline as their opponents did play for most amount of time did play with extra minute following red card of Lemos which did put Fenerbahce into difficulty period.

Trabzonspor has reduced point difference with league leaders Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce to 6 points as it managed to win Yeni Malatyaspor with 2:0 scoreline at difficult football condition.
Since Abdullah Avci has joined side due of poor performance shown by Eddie Newton, Trabzonspor does provide best results in this league with seriously providing to top 3 not due of closing gap but more importantly of getting strong results giving signs that it would be aiming to close this gap. Without doubt the most anticipating and excited Turkish Cup quarter-final would be between Galatasaray and Alanyaspor as both sides does provide performance with aiming for top posiiton in the league.
With getting some new signings during mid-season transfers Galatasaray has opportunity to provide more playing time, especially DeAndre Yedlin, Gerson Fernandes and Halil Dervisoglu some playing to get adapted to a team with them being selected to starting 11 even being possibility without doubt. Only player who might be at substitution is Gerson Fernandes who just came out from quarantine period and hence might not be entirely ready to becoming on field.
