Fatih Karagumruk did get well-deserved win against Galatasaray with strong fighting spirit.
Fatih Karagumruk has provided very focussed fighting spirit against Galatasaray especially towards end of the game with Mevlut Erdinc finding winning goal on the end of the game just after it has conceded goal from penalty kick and Enzo Roco getting red card.
Even through Fatih Karagumruk does provide good performance so far during this season, it was expected for Galatasaray to be strong favourite for this game especially taking account that it did get crucial wins in recent weeks with strong performance. It needs to be noted that Galatasaray did show also good game as this season been progressing but Fatih Karagumruk did want this game even more with high focus and organising game. Without doubt, Galatasaray head coach Fatih Terim who always states that he expects to be providing fighting game with high tempo would be unsatisfied with his team as it failed to provide right response even if it did provide strong game towards the end. Without doubt, such strong game by opponent did provide some issues such as unpreparedness with counter-attacks as it conceded like that and also lack of creation in the attack. It does look Galatasaray would need to focus into improving its physical condition which played key role in the outcome.
Fatih Karagumruk as been noted did get well-deserved win in the of this game with providing strong focus into the game with being more organised with finding winning goal after getting 10-men does deserve without doubt.
Galatasaray in all fairness did have issues with physical issues which became pretty clear as it didnt provide very high tempo of the game apart in the end of the game.
Besiktas got calm and confident win against Tarsus Idman Yurdu.
Besiktas did get pretty confident win against Tarsus Idman Yurdu with providing patient and calm game but still being focussed into getting win against side which is 2 divisions below them and got into last 16 stage.
Even through like other top 4 clubs competing in 5th round of Turkish Cup, Besiktas did go through rotation and didnt provide its best performance it did get most confident win compare others as Fenerbahce and Galatasaray did get win with minumum scoreline while Trabzonspor been relegated from penalty shootouts. Even through it could be argued that Besiktas did play with much better conditions compare to its rivals, it still showed highest concentration to the game with converting chances. Only negative aspect which could be noted on their view has been conceding at 80th minute from pretty position but again this could be done due of relaxation which it got from 3:0 scoreline and also positive style game which been Tarsus Idman Yurdu. Still, this outcome would provide high motivation for upcoming both at Turkish Cup and Super League.
Besiktas head coach Sergen Yalcin certainly would be feeling satisfied with general performance of side during this game and would now look forward for league game against Erzurumspor
Fenerbahce is expected to be pretty tough game against Gaziantep.
Fenerbahce which is currently having decline period with losing to Yeni Malatyaspor last week with 3:0 scoreline and not providing very good game at Turkish Cup against Karacebey Belediyespor, therefore it would come to crucial game against Gaziantep.
However, to achieve this aim would be difficult one for Fenerbahce as Gaziantep didnt lose in the league for 21 games and even through most of them been draws, side does provide very good and organised game showing performance despite of not have very star squad. Gaziantep does provide this performance due of its organised performance and since Fenerbahce doesnt show much strong organised game at recent period. One of the key questions for this game who would be replacing goalkeeper Altay Bayindir who did get red card on previous game at Turkish Cup with getting needless hand ball outside of penalty zone. It would either be replaced with giving risk to newly-recovered Harun Tekin or young and inexperienced Oytun Ozdogan who did provide good game against Karacebey but pressure could be more in league game. On other part, Gaziantep could use all this factors which been mentioned above and could providing more confident agressive game,
This would be difficult game for Fenerbahce psychologically and physically therefore it would be interesting how side would be responding in such game.
