What happened in Turkish football today? 08/09/2019

Turkish National Team had much more difficult time against Andorra

Turkish National Team had unexpected difficult time during Euro2020 qualifers against Andorra as it has found winning goal during 89th minute thanks to the Ozan Tufan header at the game which is hard to state has provided good performance.

It needs to be admitted that Turkey has dominated game in its attacking performance for whole game not allowing opponents to provide any attacks as their couldnt provide themselves during whole game. It is true that Turkey has stayed focussed but in same time it has lacked high amount of creative game which has played most important role for goal to come so late. Also taking account Cenk Tosun has been only attacking player who didnt provide high level performance in addition has provided lots of negative impact to team performance for sure. Turkish national team in all fairness cant see that it has provided good performance and need to go through why it has scored so late at the game. In such group, Turkey cant afford to lose to opponent like this and thankfully to them Ozan Tufan did come to rescue.

Moldova even through is much easier opponent to them it needs to be improve its performance if it wants to have much easier win on 11th September.

Genclerbirligi investigates move from Erzurumspor to Galatasaray of Taylan Antalyali

Genclerbirligi has stated that it would be openning criminal case regarding transfer of Taylan Antalyali from Erzurumspor to Galatasaray claiming that former club owns them 40% share of transfer.

Genclerbirligi has stated that when it has sold Antalyali to Erzurumspor it has added 40% share of next transfer as club saw high level potentiality with a player. It argues that Genclerbirligi has ended contract with Taylan Antalyali prior to move to Galatasaray so it wouldnt provide that payment to them and there is high amount of signature fee at this contract. Genclerbirligi therefore has started investigation about issue with their own advocates trying to find if move from Erzurumspor has been at fair manner and also stated that this has done purely to protect their rights and not actions against club. As always our blog has stated that bodies need to fight for their own right and if any wrong doing has been done, then Genclerbirligi needs to fight for it.

This story only has begun and our page would follow and inform how this issue would end.
