Derby game didnt provide expected highly attacking performance.
Super League 6th week game between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce has been expected to provide high amount of the goals during game but has ended with goalless draw as defenders have shown good performances but it needs to be noted that attackers did lack some chances.
Galatasaray it needs to be noted didnt provide to raise tempo very highly which would be used from home ground side who is playing at home ground with focussing mainly with defence as Fenerbahce has started game with again providing strong performance during game. Galatasaray didnt manage provide strong attacking game without going too much and not being able to help Radamel Falcao with creating chances but it didnt create too much to make Fenerbahce too much worried. An absence of Fatih Terim during game has also affected as it didnt provide motivation to show strong attacking game as team had some issues especially with midfielding. This game does show hence that team has some issues with providing dominating game and it needs to be admitted that team tried not to concede. This factor which we would need to admit needs to go through and find ways to get performance which would bring them for next season.
Fenerbahce since playing away would be satisfied with scoreline but it still needs to be stated that it didnt provide performance which it would been seeking for but still when looking at the general performance has been slightly better side but still it didnt have too much opportunities which it would be seeking for. It does need to be stated however that defenders did provide good performance when game was developing and team tried to provide good strong performance as game has been progressing. Even through it could be argued that Fenerbahce has been more focussed, in fact when Fenerbahce had control of the ball it has been side which looked more clear what it tried to do and had at least plan but it didnt manage to find winning goal. Therefore, Fenerbahce would be felt satisfied with its performance with 1st half performance but didnt manage to continue its performance. Therefore, looking with how teams performed Fenerbahce would been slighly closer for win but in same it didnt provide enough performance to win game.
Therefore, game didnt provide expected excitement during game but it needs to be stated that Fenerbahce provided better game but didnt do enough to win game while Galatasaray didnt manage to get control of the game at all.
Trabzonspor compare to Besiktas has been more focussed to game during week. Even through main focus during Super League 6th week game has been naturally been given to the Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, this weekend has included one more derby games (actually two more as there is also Ankara derby) between Trabzonspor and Besiktas.
This game would be played between two sides which are showing performance below what their have aimed for with including Trabzonspor which was expected to have good season compare to recent years but doesnt show such performance mainly due of injuried players. Still, Trabzonspor regardless if it was during good or bad days has always showed good performance against top teams. Without doubt, Trabzonspor would see this game as good opportunity to regain confidence and motivation and would be aiming to show an attacking game. Trabzonspor also compare to Besiktas had an advantage of focussing into game this week while opponent had some internal issues which would be able to more ready and strong.
Trabzonspor hence has some advantages compare Besiktas but as always this games is to close to be called.
Besiktas would be coming to important after week which focussed on Orman.
In other hand, Besiktas has been more focussed into future of its CEO Fikret Orman at this position during this week and even through players has been training without any connection, its difficult not to have their minds about this issue especially with Abdullah Avci.
In fact, during this week as media has been focussed into this CEO story, there was hardly information known how team has prepared to game and possibly this issue would be providing damage to team. With taking this aspect, it needs to be remembered that outcome of this game could have direct impact into aims of whole season and regardless how much its early in season, it could have direct impact into league title aspiration. It needs also to be remembered main focus would be given at team towards Burak Yilmaz who would be playing against his old team and hence might get pressure from opponent fans but he is experienced enough to ignore those fans. This game hence is more psychological to Besiktas and its crucial for team to be focussed into this game,
Besiktas had week where everyone was talking about them but didnt talk about their performance directly, now its crucial for team to focus into field.
