Besiktas has got dissapointing result against Slovan Bratislava
Besikas had lost its opening game at group stage of the Europa League against weakest link at the group Slovan Bratislava with losing game with 4:2 scoreline, conceding 2 goals at last 2 minutes of the game which has led team to lose game.
Looking at the performance and also statiscally it could been argued that Besiktas has been closer to win game as it has controlled ball from start to the end and had in total of 14 corners. But Besiktas carries on providing poor performance in this season and had trouble at converting high amount of the chances. It needs to be noted also that Besiktas start making simple mistakes at the game allowing Slovan Bratislava at getting chances as it has managed to score 3 goals in that manner. It does look like that Besiktas head coach does have some technical plan but either that plan doesnt work properly for Besiktas or players are not ready for this tactics. With season slowly getting into point where it needs to get wins, it is crucial for Besiktas to start getting wins or otherwise it would lose its opportunity to get league title and also difficulties for Abdullah Avci to stay as head coach.
Slovan Bratislava who has been seen as underground for this game has been stayed in all concentration with converting chances and has converted chances and has got advantage for rest campaign.
Besiktas it needs to be stated is providing very poor performance with its new head coach and urgently needs to find solutions for this or it would be have very problematic season for sure.
Trabzonspor didnt show performance which was expected from them against Getafe.
Trabzonspor had started its Europa League group stage with loss against Spanish side Getafe with failing to get an upper hand of the game as it didnt show much attacking positions and has been lucky to lose only with 1:0 scoreline.
It was expected that Trabzonspor could have difficult time during this game as it did have number of absences due of the injuries however side could provide some chances and possibly get at least win against Getafe. Trabzonspor didnt manage into providing an attacking chances and couldnt raise its tempo but more importantly Trabzonspor has continued with providing poor peformance as Getafe has been one which was controlling and creating chances during game. It does need to be stated that once again Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir. This game performance does show that team are failing to provide strong game and are pretty at performance which it has shown at the start of the season. Meanwhile, it needs to be noted that Alexander Sorloth who have started this season with scoring at goal at each game as he couldnt convert high amount of the chances. Trabzonspor hence needs to take this game as lesson and look at ways to get into high level performance which it has shown earlier this season.
Getafe therefore has started Europa League campaign which it didnt compete for long time, did provide good performance providing strong chances and could have with even better scoreline and hence does provide a view that it can provide top performance at group.
Trabzonspor does need to improve with its performance as it didnt control manage to control game and should take this game for improvement for rest of the group stage.
Roma has won purely with quality against Basaksehirspor .
To all respect to Basaksehirspor, it was expected that Roma was coming out as strong favourites to the game with squad and experience and it has shown that with 4:0 scoreline especially during 2nd half.
It needs to be noted that Basaksehirspor did provide some good performance during 1st half and did provide some reasonably performance but it does need to be noted that Roma has allowed to opponents with either cautious game. It needs to be stated that Basaksehirspor has got into high amount of the chances and did provide some pressure. But when 1st goal came from own goal from Caicara on 42nd minute and also during 2nd half Roma did provide that it much better side than Basaksehirspor and has got well-deserved win. This in all fairness should be treated as normal outcome with also taking account that Basaksehirspor how it plays during this season it was difficult for them to show top performance and this was good experience for them and find solution for scoring low amount of goals as it need to start finding goals both domestically and in Europe.
Roma did come out as favourite at game and group and has shown in 2nd half with winning game purely for performance and likely to dominate league without much issue.
Basaksehirspor are showing poor performance not only today but generally this season and sadly for them looks like it would have difficult season for at least in upcoming games.
