What happened in Turkish football today? 05/09/2019

Referees will not be referred to VAR monitor for handball in Turkey.

It became clear that TFF has made decision that main referees during game at Super League and
Turkish Cup will not be send at viewing VAR monitor when it was informed that there has been handball for the aim to reduce time which has spend by referees to make final decision.

This decision to some extend has been made in a sense stating that if hand ball has been spotted then there is no big reason for referee to be viewing at the position as long as its not unclear at all. There has been some complaints that due of VAR does slow down football game in Turkey, interestingly this issue doesnt seem to be taking place in other countries a lot, and one of the ways to not have this affect is for this kind of clear decisions to be made in fast manner without need to go to view at the VAR monitor. It needs to be stated of course that with such decision VAR would also need to be specifically cautious and dont make mistakes in this kind of positions for sure.

This decision for sure would be able to speed up game but it  would be important for referees at VAR to make strong and good decisions when it comes to the handball crucial decisions.

There is claim that unnamed Galatasaray administrator did pay cash for Radamel Falcao behind back.

There has been given very interesting and important claim by Turkish agent stating that someone at Galatasaray administrative team has provided payment towards Monaco to purchase Radamel Falcao.

As it is known, according to official statements both by Galatasaray and Monaco, there was no transfer fee provided from Galatasaray when it has got Radamel Falcao. This claim, and especially if its true and would be proven, would provide some important matter how actually transfer negotiations and also interesting aspects of why Galatasaray would not announce thats payment, possibly showing that payment has been pretty high amount. Claimer Batuhan does state that person who has provided such payment should make a public announcent or otherwise, in quite confident manner been stated, he would make announcement himself. Thsi claim is very strong one and it would be interesting how Galatasaray would respond on this issue.

So far, Galatasaray did stay quiet and it would be curious how this factor would be ending at upcoming days especially when it is actually case.

NEC Nijmegen would be sending complaint to FIFA and UEFA against Fenerbahce.

Dutch club NEC Nijmegen has announced that it would be sending complaint to UEFA and FIFA against Fenerbahce for not recieving payments for Ferdi Kadioglu on time.

NEC Nijmegen has made statement mentioning about its financial issues and hence has also stated that one of the reasons of this issue is that it doesnt recieve installment payments from Fenerbahce for Ferdi Kadioglu and hence its uncapable to solve some of its internal issues. With this being crucial to the club, it aims to send complaint to UEFA and FIFA and demanding that money. With no response given by Fenerbahce yet, it would be interesting to see how this story would develop as this complaint could affect negatively to the team financially as it has many issues right now.

NEC Nijmegen if truly doesnt recieve its installment payments does have right to send complaint, and Fenerbahce surely needs to find urgently a solution for this situation as it could lead team into big issues financially.
