Turkish football season would be started with Turkish Super Cup game between title-holders Galatasaray and Turkish cup finalists Akhisarspor as both sides without doubt would be aiming to start season at highest point.
Galatasaray who has ended season with double would be aiming to start its new season with also winning Super Cup even through at recent seasons it does look like Turkish Cup winners are doing better performance compare to league winners.
