Galatasaray had lost to get its win of this season as it has conceded at last minute from Konyaspor.
Last minute goal by Konyaspor player Johnsson has prevented Galatasarat to get its 1st win of the season during Super League 2nd week game even through Galatasaray has been side which has shown dominating game for most part of the 2nd half.
Stating that, it needs to be noted that even through Galatasaray has shown strong and attacking game for most amount of 2nd half it was still not showing perfect game which could be seen from fact that it didnt find 2nd goal. Going back at the start of the game, it needs to be stated that Konyaspor has started game in similar manner as their have ended with having back-to-back attacks. Therefore, during today's game Galatasaray has provided much better attacking game compare to last week but definsively it does have some issues. Stating that red card which was recieved by Jean Michael Seri, which did come from VAR decision in correct manner, has also affected game as Konyaspor has got much open space which their had used at perfect manner. Even through this is being start of the season, Galatasaray did lose 5 points and it would now aiming to close gap.
Meanwhile, Konyaspor has shown strong and organised game both at defense providing difficult moment for Galatasaray to find goals as it has only scored and on other hand has created some great chances and such performance could provide motivational and confidence boost for upcoming games.
Galatasaray are showing so far worrying performance with conceding at last minute and does look to do many things for next week game against Kayserispor if it would be aiming for its 1st game this season.
Trabzonspor has got an important win even through it didnt show great performance.
Trabzonspor has managed to win Super League 2nd week game against Yeni Malatyaspor with 2:1 scoreline even through it is hard to state that Trabzon side didnt provide great performance especially during 1st half.
Even through the game has been started with slow tempo with both sides, it was visible that Trabzonspor did come out to come out for a win after losing points at opening week. With addition that Yeni Malatyaspor did come out for at least 1 point did lead for both sides to show cautious game. However, it was obvious that during half-time it was clear that team has been considered to come out for a win and has raised its tempo and has found a nice goal thanks to goal from Abdulkadir Omur which has almost recieved an injury from Yeni Malatyaspor goalkeeper at that moment. After goal Trabzonspor has got an important motivational boost and have created some more chances until end of the game. Apart of conceding goal on 89th minute, Trabzonspor has managed to control game and even have created chances and has provided good positive game but it still needs to improve with its performances.
Yeni Malatyaspor meanwhile did provide good game and has created many chances and in all fairness it did deserve to get at least draw result as it has also created chances during 2nd half. Yeni Malatyaspor has provided an organised game and has shown that in general it is capable to have good season.
Trabzonspor has got an important win against Yeni Malatyaspor and apart getting closer for top spots but also gained an important motivational and confidence boost for 2nd leg of AEK Athens at Europa League and also for Fenerbahce game at league next week.
Fenerbahce has shown great comeback against Basaksehirspor.
Fenerbahce has got a very important win against Basaksehirspor during Super League 2nd week game and hence has got back-to-back wins at the start of the season thanks to the Nabil Dirar last minute goal.
It needs to be stated that Fenerbahce still didnt provide a great game and head coach Ersun Yanal following game has stated himself that he was unhappy with how team performed especially during defensive game. One of the key aspects and effect of the outcome has played a factor that as game has got towards ends Basaksehirspor has provided a bit worser performance than it did at start of the game while Fenerbahce has provided a strong attacking game which has helped team to find 2 goals. Still, focus towards game and self-belief that it can get a win has played an important role at the game where Vedat Muriqi has once again shown that he would key player at the team.
With such win, Fenerbahce without doubt has got very important motivaitonal boost for crucial game against Trabzonspor as it would be aiming to come out as favourite at home.
