Pepe has arrived to Istanbul to have transfer negotiations with Besiktas
With Real Madrid player Pepe arriving to Istanbul to have transfer negotiations with Besiktas, and if all of the sides would make an agreement it could become biggest transfer for the whole summer transfer window and one of the greatest in history of Turkish football.
According to Turkish sports media, number of Besiktas administrators has travelled to Lisbon where it had transfer negotiations with Pepe for 2 days and has made transfer deal for 2 years at the sides with negotiations continuing in Besiktas would be aiming to make final agreement with Pepe signing contract with Besiktas shirt. It needs to be reminded that PSG is also having transfer negotiations with Pepe and does offer higher salary so even through this arrival of Pepe to Besiktas does make them very close to make final deal it is not yet certain as their have been cases where players did arrive but didnt make final agreement. However, if deal would be made this transfer would go into history of Turkish football.
One of the weakest areas of Besiktas especially when coming to the aims at the Europe has been at defence and if Pepe would join them it would having solution to this issue and help team to improve at the back.
Basaksehirspor are having transfer talks with Gael Clichy in Istanbul
Another impressive arrival to Istanbul for negotiations has been Manchester City player Gael Clichy arriving to Istanbul to have transfer negotiations with Basaksehirspor which does it make even more impressive since he did decline offers from Galatasaray and Fenerbahce beforehand.
With Basaksehirspor aiming to make strong squad with aims for Champions League or either Europa League, depending on its qualifying campaign in Champions League, it is also focussed into making their squad much more stronger for next season. With Gael Clichy possibility of making transfer deal with Basaksehirspor would provide them stronger team for next season and carrying on its statements that it does aim to provide better and continuation of its performance from this season. Meanwhile, there were some rumours today that Clichy has declined Galatasaray offer due of the fact that Nigel de Jong has stated that his team doesnt play salary on time and changes coaches regularly.
With Gael Clichy joining Basaksehirspor it would become a pretty strong in Super League level and might have a good European season in upcoming season.
Osmanlispor has appointed Bulent Uygun for 2+1 years.
Osmanlispor at the end of the day did manage to appoint coach Bulent Uygun as their head coach even through few weeks ago when their were close to make appointment there was misunderstanding between sides.
Both sides has made a deal for 2+1 years with Uygun would certainly aim to make this side much stronger. Bulent Uygun during today's signing ceremony has stated that this has been first time in recent years in Turkey when he has joined team before start of the season as he tends to be appointed during mid-season. Right now he would focus into current squad during pre-season training camp and following that would decide into transfers, even through he did state that their might be still 2-3 transfers which team has on mind. This blog did state previously that is doubtful that Bulent Uygun have capacity to move his team forward but it is still possible as he did show this with Ankaraspor around 10 years ago.
Bulent Uygun is of course aware that he would be joining team whose aim for next season would be to end at the Europa League zone at the table and hence would prepare for next season with this on mind.
