There are some disadvantages waiting for Galatasaray against Ostersunds.
Galatasaray would become 1st team to open its 2017-18 season as it would meet against Sweden team Ostersunds during Europa League 2nd qualifying round 1st leg game tomorrow. Even through Galatasaray does come out as favourite to the game, it does have some disadvantages.
One of the main disadvantages which is taken place during every year at the qualifying stage, especially when meeting with Northern European countries is the fact that those teams are in more prepared to the game as their season in spring due of spring-autumn league system. Ostersunds among playing arleady 9-10 games at their own league has also started season pretty well with winning all of the games at the home ground factor which their aim to use at the game tomorrow. Another disadvantage is the fact of the condition of the field in the Ostersunds as it is artificial field which most players at the side are not used and also factor that the weather is expected to be cold. Stating that, in overall, Galatasaray with strength of the squad and experience at the Europe does have strong advantage.
Ostersunds can show unexpected surprise at the game tomorrow as did Astana several years ago at Champions League but Galatasaray needs to play brave and its own game to win game comfortably.
Olympique Lyon is expected to transfer Besiktas player Marcelo for 8.5 million euro.
French side Olympique Lyon are expected to transfer Besiktas player Marcelo in few days time with 8.5 million euro transfer fee which would go into history as one of the most expensive transfers from Besiktas at its defence.
The interest which was shown by Olympique Lyon has been visible since starting of summer transfer window and it was known that Besiktas CEO Fikret Orman was seeing this as good chance to make good cash even through both Marcelo and Senol Gunes wanted him to stay. But it does look instead that Marcelo instead is pretty interested and looks forward to move to France where he is expected to go through medical checkup in few days time. Certainly, Besiktas would now make good amount of cash from this offer and would look to spend this possible amount to the forward players with one of them being Manchester City player Alexander Kolarov.
Marcelo has provided good performance at the team becoming one of the key defenders at the team but with having many amount of players and also recieving good offer the team has decided to sell its star player.
Roma are close to transfer Basaksehirspor player Cengiz Under.
It does look like right now that Basaksehirspor player Cengiz Under would leave his team during this transfer window, either to the Manchester City and Roma as both sides has provided a very good offers to the team.
Both Basaksehirspor CEO Goksel Gumesdag and vice-CEO Murat Saral has stated that their having transfer negotiations with both teams and does look he would leave to one of this teams. It became clear that Roma has offered 13 million euro while Manchester City has offered 9 million euro, which does provide an additional advantage to Roma as the team aims to sell its player for highest price so it can find a good alternative. Until now, Basaksehirspor without doubt has shown great transfer politics making it clear that it wont sell Cengiz Under that easily, but team start recieving offers which it cant decline.
It does look that Roma is one step closer for transfer with a talks that it would be announced in few days time even but we would see how this news would develop.
