Trabzonspor has started complaining case against Fenerbahce regarding of match-fixing via FIFA.
Trabzonspor has stated that it has opened complaint case towards FIFA regarding of match-fixing case which has started on 3rd July 2011 as Trabzonspor carries on fighting stating that Fenerbahce did matchfixing during that season and hence are title winners.
Trabzonspor as their stated himself has chosen this day to open case on purpose as it is 6th anniversary since start of the criminal case. As it is known, Fenerbahce has always stated that this case has been focussed into FETO organisation, which has also been main suspect of the last August coup in Turkey. Even through Trabzonspor has stated as all of the Turkish society that there are against FETO, it did state several times that match-fixing and fight against FETO should be treated differently and hence are not same things and that it would fight for their own rights until the end. Their latest stage to find justice in this case is to send and open case through FIFA and it would be very interesting to see how FIFA would respond to this issue in upcoming days.
Trabzonspor did state that it would fight until end and this is only beginning and it does look like total closure of this issue would be taken a long time.
Goztepe transfers Selcuk Sahin and Axel Ngando.
Goztepe carries on its impressive summer transfer window as it has transfer deal with Genclerbirligi player Selcuk Sahin and Bastia player Axel Ngando as it aims to make team which would stay at the Super League for long period of time.
Goztepe as been mentioned several times at our blog raise to the Super League is very important one as it has become 1st team from 3rd largest city in Turkey, Izmir to join to the Super League for longer time. Hence, them having good season and at least staying at the Super League and dont turn into elevator team is also very impotant for Turkish football. By achieving that it needs to make team which is capable to stay at the Super League and possibly fight for higher spots and transfers of Selcuk Sahin and goalkeeper Axel Ngando are players who can help them to achieve that for next season. It does need to make more transfers to make it even secure but its going at right track certainly.
Goztepe head coach Tamer Tuna does have a tough job but getting experience from Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes does have capacity to achieve that for sure.
Fenerbahce has made principal agreement with Carlos Kameni.
Fenerbahce has announced today, after several hours of Malaga player Carlos Kameni, has arrived to Istanbul that it has made a principal agreement with goalkeeper.
Even through it is very likely that Fenerbahce player Volkan Demirel would stay as main goalkeeper at the team it does aim to find player which would make Demirel not to feel to comfortable and also in case if he cant play Kameni can take his place. This is important transfers as Volkan Demirel is not as young as he was and this transfer would also allow team to plan for a future assuming that this principal agreement will not be over Kameni is in level to provide this replacement. It is expected that both sides would conclude transfer negotiations and deal would be come tomorrow.
It is important also to state to Kameni that he would be a substitute which team is likely to be done and make sure that he would respond to this in positive and patient way being aware that Volkan Demirel is number 1 at the team for long time now.
