Trabzonspor terminates contract with Muhammet Demir
Trabzonspor has announced that it has terminated contract with its player Muhammet Demir as the club has been unsatisfied with the performance of the player for 1 and half season when he was transferred to the team from Genclerbirligi.
As it was remembered, Muhammet Demir has been transferred to the team with high optimism and was seen by many as the future of the Turkish football who during that time has even reached to national team. However, his performance at the team has been below his potentiality and expectaction which certainly has led head coach Ersun Yanal to be unhappy and has reduced him to play in previous season as it was coming to the conclusion. With Trabzonspor still counting as big club at least with mentality inside the team, and that could have led also degrease of performance by the player at the Trabzonspor and maybe he would be able to show good performance once again at his next club.
Trabzonspor quite rightly aims to make team which would be able to fight for league title next season and hence needs also to make revision at the squad and terminating contract of Demir is one of them.
Basaksehirspor has terminated contract with Bekir Irtegun.
Another termination contract has been come from Basaksehirspor which has stated that it has ended contract with its defender Bekir Irtegun despite of being able to show some good performance during last season but it does look like it doesnt fit to next season plans.
Even through Bekir could not be referred as bad player, he does stay behind aims of the team for next season with recurring age and also with alternatives appearing at the team. As Elijero Elia has stated at press conference today, the team is capable to fighting for league title at next season and to reach that it needs to have strong squad which would allow for this aim to be achieved. Bekir Irtegun even through as stated is not bad defender, he was never seen as player at the top level even when he played for Fenerbahce and with age being his enemy right now it would be expected for him to be reduced in his value and also at the team.
Still he could help his new club where he could move to at least stay at the half, possibly being few place at top during next season with his defensive skills.
Future of Wesley Sneijder is still unclear even through he restarted trainings.
With focussing so far with players who left their team, lets focus into ongoing uncertainty about future of the Galatasaray player Wesley Sneijder and shirt number 10 crises at the team.
Even through Wesley Sneijder going through medical checkup and joining training session at the team could be seen as possible thing regarding his future it could be also seen as a fact to let player to be fit at the team. It does look like Younes Belhanda has got shirt number 10 for next season regardless of Wesley Sneijder staying or leaving but quite rightly this move has been seen as sign of him leaving. With Sneijder actually wanting to stay at the team it does show that club administrators are pushing him to leave which also raises unhappiness from fans. But time would show if he would stay or not.
Even through Sneijder performance could be criticised it is known that player has always been loyal to his team and this factor which is being rarity in recent years and hence this should be taken into mind by administrators.
