Goztepe has made transfer deal with Beto

Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon has announced that Goztepe has made transfer deal with its player Beto at its website and that the player is expected to join Izmir club in upcoming days.

It does look like that  this transfer would be biggest transfer for Goztepe during this summer transfer window even through there is still some time until deadline of the transfer window. It needs to be stated that this could be one of the surprising transfer with looking at the footballing career of Beto both at the club level and national team. As been stated several times one of the main aims for Goztepe for upcoming season is to stay at the Super League and one way to achieve that is to concede minumum amount of goals. With Beto experience it does look like that this aim could be solved if Beto of course gets used to the team and Super League in this season.

Following transfer needs still to be made official but it does look like it would become reality but with Sporting Lisbon making such statement it can be stated that there is deal.

Galatasaray would make Eray Iscan as 2nd goalkeeper.

Galatasaray has decided to keep its player Eray Iscan at the team and make him as 2nd goalkeeper since Mert Gunok has left to the Malaga during this summer. Following decision means that in likely way Galatasaray will not look to transfer goalkeeper this summer.

It needs to be mentioned that following decision does make sense since Eray Iscan as 2nd goalkeeper would be mainly playing at early stages of the Turkish Cup since Fernando Muslera would be expected to be playing at Super League but stating there is risk if Muslera would become injured. Eray Iscan being great goalkeeper does have a lack of experience at the Super League and his performance could lead for number of loss points. However, this is not area which team would be specifically worried about as Fernando Muslera has hardly become injured in recent seasons.

With taking circumstances and also FFP rules set from UEFA it does seem logical for Galatasaray to make Iscan 2nd goalkeeper but as been it does run some risks.

Yeni Malatyaspor aims for big transfers but its important to keep team as one.

Yeni Malatyaspor are among most surprising sides during this summer window transfer as it has managed to make some number of impressive transfers and there are some media reports that it aims to make even more.

According to some Turkish sports media, Yeni Malatyaspor are interested to transfer Basaksehirspor player Irfan Can Kahveci, Trabzonspor player Hugo Rodallega and Olympiakos Aly Cissokho. All of this players have provided great career as players with some at the Super League and the aim is to make as strong team as possible for the Super League. Of course, and if this transfers would come into reality it always been risky to provide great performance with the team of full of the stars, and it would be in level of Super League. Galatasaray are close to transfer Fernando and Sofiane Feghouli

It is reported that Galatasaray has made transfer deal with Manchester City player Fernando and West Ham United player Sofiane Feghouli with both players would be joining to the team in near future but there is still need to make agreement with both clubs.

According to reports in the media, Galatasaray has made transfer deal with both players but has issues with making deal both clubs. Despite of the Galatasaray starting its season in very dissapointing manner with being eliminated from Ostersunds as early as 2nd qualifying round Europa League its still carries on active transfers with focussing into named players. Without doubt even through Galatasaray did become stronger with its transfers it is way below its level of performance and would need to focus to transfer both Feghouli and Fernando. This both players would be able to push forward team even further and make even stronger for next season. If this transfers would come into final deal the team without doubt would become stronger for next season.

The time would show if this transfer would come into reality but it would be able to move team forward as been stated for next season.

Besiktas has issues at the defence if watching with pre-season performance. 

Even through Besiktas is still been seen by many as one of the strongest candidates to get league title at the end of upcoming season, this pre-season friendly period at the team has shown some worrying images of the defence.

Besiktas has managed to concede at each game during this pre-season game with some games conceding more than one. With one of the defenders at the team Atinc Nukan becoming injured yesterday for 6 months does show that team would need to focus into transferring another defender. Surely Pepe is big transfer and would help team but he might not be enough to solve this issue. Of course, as been stated several times friendly games are not good reference but it does show that team has some number of issues at the back which it needs preferably to solve prior to start of the new season.

Therefore, Besiktas would certainly another transfer for next season at the back if it wants to win games without much troubles.

TFF is looking for new national team coach

Since coach Fatih Terim contract with Turkish National Team head coach position has been terminated one of the talks at the media has been his replacement however most coaches are currently are being at their team.

One of the main candidates by man has been seen Senol Gunes and Abdullah Avci but both teams are having very good season at their clubs and are very unlikely to leave their club or even be allowed from administrators. Among free Turkish coaches the best solution seems to be currently Mustafa Denizli who did state today that he didnt recieve any offers for such a position. Another option is also been foreign coach who would be currently free. However there is only talks and it doesnt seem that TFF are focussed to any names suprisingly or possibly media are not focussing into this too much being busy with transfer season.

It needs to be noted that upcoming head coach would have some issues at Turkey does have good chances to get to the World Cup 2018 but it wont be easy at all to achieve that.

Fenerbahce has shown lots of improvement with Aykut Kocaman against Sturm Graz.

Even through it could be argued that Fenerbahce is still far from its best potential performance during Europa League 3rd qualifying round 1st leg game against Sturm Graz, it still has provided lots of positive aspects during the game as it has won it with 2:1 scoreline.

It needs to be noted that Fenerbahce did start game in pretty good manner as it has also conceded goal during 10th minute but has managed to show fast comeback in 25th minutes after Neustadner goal at the corner has managed to control game for rest of the game. The team without doubt has shown much better organised game compare to friendlies which undoubtedly been by the help of Fenerbahce head coach Aykut Kocaman. In fact, this has been also visible from post-game statements from number of players who has praised Aykut Kocaman with his style of training sessions in pre-season training camp. Yesterday performance therefore did provide lots of positive views for upcoming game and is expected as team to improve upcoming season. The star of the game has been meanwhile without doubt Alper Potuk with great organised performance for most of the game.

Fenerbahce as the team with new head coach is improving currently and is expected to provided much better performance for 2nd leg game to be played in Istanbul next week.

Club's Union CEO Goksel Gumusdag has been stated that he will not announce candidacy in August election.

Club's Union CEO Goksel Gumusdag has provided surprising statement today that he would not run as CEO of the organisation in upcoming election in 10th August after his successful 3 year period.

This statement with also taking account that he was provided pretty good reign at the union has been seen as surprise with Galatasaray CEO Dursun Ozbek stating he doesnt accept this decision and it would been good for Turkish football for Gumusdag to stay as CEO. This role as being representative of Super League clubs does play an important role and always had direct contact with TFF sometimes even motivating them to come with new decisions. Therefore, this decisions by Goksel Gumusdag with who Turkish football did go a little bit forward would been pretty worrying. In fact, anyone who would take his place in the future needs to be aware of difficulties and possibly statement by Dursun Ozbek has shown that worry. Meanwhile, Goksel Gumusdag has also stated that there is proposal at the table to raise teams to 21.

Goksel Gumusdag would be leaving his position as successful CEO of the Union and as been stated its important for next CEO to take similar seriousness for this post.

Fenerbahce has shown good performance against Sturm Graz. 

Fenerbahce has won an away game during Europa League 3rd qualifying round 1st leg game against Sturm Graz with help of the Roman Neustadner goal at the game where scoreline has been all set during 1st 35 minutes.

Even through Fenerbahce has shown pretty poor performance during friendly games without winning any of them it has shown top performance during Europa League game against Sturm Graz with 2:1 scoreline. As Fenerbahce head coach Aykut Kocaman, has stated following the game this scoreline might not be enough for the team at the end of the day but it was important to show top football. Taking account that it has conceded goal as early as 10th minute it was pretty impressive to turn scoreline in next 25 minutes. Despite of not great start to the game it has shown great response. It also needs to be stated that Fenerbahce has also shown great defensive football during 2nd half as Sturm Graz has been going forward but in overall it was well-deserved win by Fenerbahce.

Sturm Graz meanwhile has shown pretty good performance against Fenerbahce and has shown indeed that it was ready for today's game with showing fast-paced football especially 2nd half. Even through Fenerbahce has upper hand, Sturm is still inside the game.

Fenerbahce has got an important win at away game and has shown good collective football and with slight improvement at 2nd half could lead them for play-off round at the competition.

Basaksehirspor has shown great comeback against Club Brugge.

Basaksehirspor has shown a great spirit with its comeback from 2:0 scoreline after dissapointing 1st half performance against Belgian club Club Brugge during Champions League 3rd qualifying round 1st leg game and has ended away game with 3:3 scoreline.

Basaksehirspor has conceded 2 pretty simple goals from Club Brugge at the 1st of the 16th minutes of the game and hence providing a worry that it might lose to Belgian side with the scoreline with which it will not be able to return from during 2nd leg game. However, and with the great response from Mossoro during 2nd half it did manage to show great comeback and even get into ahead of the game with 3:2 scoreline for 4 minutes. Basaksehirspor has shown right attitude which it would need at least for this draw to get to the play-off round of the competition. It needless to state that it does have great advantage with 3 away goals and as long as it doesnt lose game until 3:3 scoreline it would be able to mark history at its own history and possibly in history of Champions League by being most modest club at play-off round of the competition. Despite of all this positive aspects, its still needs to provide full focus for 2nd leg game if it wants to get to the next stage of the competitions. Lets see if Basaksehirspor would be able to get an important win at its history during 2nd leg game.

Galatasaray will have meeting with Mircea Lucescu to appoint him in the role similar to sports director.  

The aim for Galatasaray to appoint Mircea Lucescu as club's upper hand position at the team which would be providing full focus to the football section of the club, being similar to the sports director would be turning into reality as club has started its 1st negotiations regarding this idea.

During the meeting of the administrators regarding of the future of the head coach Igor Tudor among other issues has come to conclusion to keep Igor Tudor as club's head coach but appoint well-known football player at its club or coach into position of football director who would be responsible with everything going on with the team. It became clear that Galatasaray administrator Can Topsakal has travelled to Romania to meet with Mircea Lucescu to discuss about possible appontment of him to such an important role. Prior to flying to Romania, Topsakal has stated that this is 1st meeting to see how Lucescu would see towards this idea and later he would meet with CEO Dursun Ozbek. It does sound like nice idea from club and it would be appointment would be able to push both players and also have some control with head coach Igor Tudor.

Basaksehirspor would aim to win their 1st ever Champions League game.

Basaksehirspor would experience its first Champions League game as it would meet against Belgian club Club Brugge at the 3rd qualifying round 1st leg where it would aim to get 1st win in the tournament.

It has been stated after the draw been made at our blog that Basaksehirspor has been drawn with one of the best options as Belgian side to all respect to them has been weakest teams among Viktoria Plzen. However, it does need to be reminded that Club Brugge does have more experience as it has competed both at the qualifiers and also at the main tournament for many seasons. Basaksehirspor one of the aims during this summer transfer window among to make team strong for next season Super League but also make competitve team for Europe. It is known that minumum aim for Basaksehirspor is to get at least to play-off round of the tournament and hence its needs to get at least advantage scoreline tomorrow. Again, Basaksehirspor has capability to win Club Brugge but even through players, especially newly-signed ones, have great experience the club itself would experience new feeling tomorrow.

The key to the game is to play game at the positive manner and believe that it can get great experience with good score at least in this round of the tournament and believe itself.

Bursaspor are willing to sell Mert Gunok to Galatasaray.

Bursaspor CEO Ali Ay during interview yesterday has made it clear that the team is considering to sell its player Mert Gunok to Galatasaray as his cost is too high of 1 million euro taking account that he would be playing as 2nd goalkeeper.

In quite diplomatic way, even through he is certainly right, Ali Ay has stated that Mert Gunok is a great player but his salary demands are not following interests to the team and hence the team is pretty close to make transfer deal with Galatasaray. With Cenk Gonun leaving to Malaga few weeks ago, it is known that Galatasaray is looking for 2nd goalkeeper and Fenerbahce ex- player would be very suitable for the team with his experience even through he didnt play as much as games as was expected to him. Stating that Mert Gunok has been used to be 2nd man and whenever has got a chance has used it to the max and hence would not likely to create much issues at the team. He is stable player and should be able to help Galatasaray when he would recieve playing time.

Bursaspor meanwhile has also terminated contract with the player and hence leading Gunok to join Galatasaray without them being involved at negotiations.

Antalyaspor has stated that it will not sell Samuel Eto'o to anyone. 

Antalyaspor has put all of the dots regarding of the transfer talks of Samuel Eto'o towards Fenerbahce with their statements during yesterday and today. With today statements it has also shown unhappiness with how media treats this issue.

During short statement it has underlined that it has no intention to sell Samuel Eto'o and will not have any transfer negotiations with any clubs. Even through it is known for middle level teams to aim to sell its stars in way of making money, Antalyaspor has always underlined that it will not sell Etoo to anyone regardless if it is Fenerbahce or Besiktas. Besiktas has started transfer negotiations with Orkan Cinar.

Besiktas has made a statement that it has started transfer negotiations with Gaziantepspor player Orkan Cinar as the player himself has joined medical checkup for the club today and is expected to join pre-season training camp in Spain tomorrow.

The talks about Besiktas showing an interest towards Orkan Cinar has been surrounding for most part of this summer transfer window and it became clear today that agreement for the transfer has become even closer with following statement by Besiktas today. It is expected that club would make transfer deal with Gaziantepspor for modest price as 750,000 euro. One of the unexpected transfer news which has come out from today has been news that Fenerbahce has made transfer deal with Antalyaspor superstar player Samuel Etoo and is currently are having transfer negotiations with club.

Interestingly on the day before, Fenerbahce has made a public statement stating that it didnt have any transfer talks and interests with Samuel Eto'o but today the news has been going around that Antalyaspor player is interested to join Fenerbahce. Galatasaray are looking for alternatives for Igor Tudor.

Following loss to the Ostersunds during Europa League 2nd qualifying round, future of the
Galatasaray head coach Igor Tudor at the team is being uncertain which has led for rumours surrounding that club has started appointment negotiations with Turkish National Team head coach Fatih Terim and coach Mircea Lucescu.

As the followers of the Super League and Turkish teams would know those two names has been appearing whenever Galatasaray has coach crises. It is quite natural for Super League seasons to be starting in a short period of time and Galatasaray still aiming for league title is to find Tudor replacement who is used for the team and could make faster deal. It is known that Turkish National
Team head coach Fatih Terim has always openly stated that he has good connection with Galatasaray but stated that it would all depend if Turkish Football Federation would be willing to provide a deal where he would stay as coach both at the club and national team for current possible appointment. This deal could be hard to make as TFF has always demanded for head coach to be only at national team even through there was small period where Terim has been doing both jobs. Still with Mircea Lucescu number of demands from Galatasaray, Terim is closer to make deal.

Igor Tudor has recieved lots of criticism from last season and right now has been recieving much more with surprising elimination to the Ostersunds at the Europa League and his fate could be decided on 25th July during administrative meeting.

Alvaro Negredo wants to join Besiktas for 1-year loan.

Coach Mehmet Ozdilek has been appointed as assistant coach at Turkish National Team.

It has become clear that Turkish National Team head coach Fatih Terim main asisstant coach would be coach and Besiktas ex-player Mehmet Ozdilek who has experienced number of games at the Turkish National Team during his playing career.

Mehmet Ozdilek who has spend most of his career period at the National Team Besiktas and has also become one of the legendary player at the latest to all respect didnt provide as good coaching career but he was appointed previously as assistant coach at the national team assistant during his coaching career beforehand. It is also known that Turkish National Team head coach Fatih Terim has pretty good connection with Ozdilek which would also mean that their wont have much issues during getting used and adapted to each other. This partnership between two could provide a helpful effect for the national team in the road for World Cup 2018 and would also affect possibly to the players as their would be trained with ex-players have great careers at the national team level.

As been noted Mehmet Ozdilek might not have lots of experience as head coach but he would surely have great understanding with Fatih Terim and has all good chances to motivate players for World Cup qualifiers.

Nevzat Aydin is expected to resign from Trabzonspor vice-CEO role.
