Lukas Podolski risky introduction to the 2nd half has brought win to Galatasaray.
Galatasaray has shown a top football with high organisation during Super League 6th week game against Antalyaspor despite of fact that it was losing 1:0 after half time. It is certainly clear that Galatasaray head coach Jan Olde Riekerink risky decision to introduce player Lukas Podolski for 2nd 45 minutes has brought a positive result to the team.
Despite of being injured for more than a month, Lukas Podolski return to the field has been at the top and he has shown why he is one of the star players at the footballing world and at the current squad. After the game, Galatasaray head coach Jan Olde Riekerink has stated that that he couldnt see for a team to score a goal with current squad and he needed to take that risk. Apart of the goal scored, Podolski has also made attacking area of the team more effective. Bruma meanwhile carried on showing top performance at the game including his fast play and skills to pass players towards penalty area. It does feel like his loan period at the Malaga has made him better player and he would play an important role at this season at the club. Galatasaray is providing a top football right now and does provide an image of willing to improve even more.
Surely, Galatasaray are among teams who would be going to national team break at the high mood and with signs that number of players would recovery from their injuries would led them to become even stronger.
Fenerbahce was lucky not to lose to Osmanlispor.
Super League 6th week game between Osmanlispor and Fenerbahce could be best described by the tiredness which both team has recieved following Europa League games at the midweek against Zurich and Feyenoord respectively.
One of the main issues at the Fenerbahce at the game yesterday was lacking to find fast tempo at the game yesterday and hence provided them not able to find lots of chances. Meanwhile, there is been long talks about penalty kick with an argument going that Osmanlispor player Regattin has asked for it and has moved towards leg of Volkan Demirel. Even through this argument is valid, I would argue that Volkan Demirel was coming directly to the player and even through Regattin had chance to escape as a player he will not to that. Surely, Fenerbahce player would not do that in return or any other team around world. This argument is really unneccesarily as those kind of chances happen around world and arleady been ignored by fans at the footballing world. Fenerbahce was not at the best performance and as been mentioned yesterday it was lucky as Osmanlispor was tired from away game against Zurich, or otherwise their would have lost the game.
Fenerbahce is now 8 points behind league leaders Basaksehirspor who meanwhile has won them at the openning week. This point difference after 6 weeks is a big one and Fenerbahce must start winning games back-to-back at least until Galatasaray game on 11th week if it wants to get back to the league title spot.
If Arda Turan is disrespectful he should not be at the national team.
The main footballing conversation at the Turkish footballing world since Friday has been not introduction of the Barcelona and Turkish star player Arda Turan into the Turkish National Team squad prior to World Cup Qualifiers against Ukraine and Iceland.
The reason of all this situation has not been explained by official bodies but it does look like the reasons are more related to the relationship wise rather than sportive. There were rumours that the reason was due of bonuses share at the team with Burak Yilmaz and number of players not recieving their share. However, even through Burak Yilmaz admitted that he didnt recieve those bonuses that wasnt main reason of not being chosen to the squad and he will explain about them soon but not now as there is important games at the qualifiers. It does look like head coach Fatih Terim also become tired of the ego behaviour by Arda and even their had heated argument between each other at the training camp prior to Euro2016. As it is known, Fatih Terim is not easy to forgive as he is known for his strict manners.
Even through Arda Turan not being at the squad is a big loss, if he behaved to Fatih Terim in disrespective manner than he should recieve following punishment and should pay the price.

- Fenerbahce player Martin Skrtel had an operation on his nose following recieving injury against Feyenoord. He is in good condition.
- Besiktas CEO Fikret Orman: The decision to cancel results of council committee was due of Yalcin Karadeniz had debt issues.Its still to early to talk about league title.We have more points at this stage from last season.There is still 3 months until transfer window, its too early. Maybe Aboubakar will start scoring each week.
- Turkish National Team had its first training session prior to World Cup Qualifier game against Ukraine.
- Bursaspor 2nd CEO Ali Ademoglu:We are recieving red cards for 3 weeks back to back.Everyone believes our rights were taken awayin last game
- Osmanlispor general manager Ender Yurtguven: I dont understand why I was referred to UEFA disciplined committe for my comments that we didnt come to Switzealand to make some issues. I dont think I would recieve any punishment.
- Karabukspor CEO Feridun Tankut: 2-3 players would return from injury after national team break and our supporters ban is over. We would get better.
- Inter Milan shareholder Erick Thohir: It will be hard for loan players to return to team for next season.
- Besiktas administrators are unhappy with recent behaviour of Ricardo Quaresma as he starts arguments with teammates.
- Besiktas player Gokhan Inler is rumoured to have injury at the finger of the foot but this fact has been hidden from the media.
