Fenerbahce were somehow reluctant to shoot at the goal against Alanyaspor.
Fenerbahce carries on providing a very poor start to the season with this time drawing against Alanyaspor during Super League 7th week game with 1:1 scoreline. This could be seen surely as one of the worst performance of a team for this season.
Fenerbahce didnt show much upper hand despite of fact that it did attack several times during the game and has provide very amateur performance especially during 2nd half of the game, especially at the end of the game. The game, to all respect of effort given by two sides, did look like it was played by bunch of the kids at the street. There was organisation at creating chances by Fenerbahce but somehow the players seemed to forget or being too scared to shoot at the goal which lead for chances to score more than shots themselves, and that taking account that Alanyaspor didnt interfere defensively with their attacks a lot. Fenerbahce had created great chances but it was passing ball even times when it needed just to shoot. Even Miroslav Stoch who is great with distance shots seemed to be reluctant and Ozan Tufan except of shooting at the goal position created by himself has decided to pass, an option which made situation even tougher. Fenerbahce lack of shooting did in fact made chance of winning this game naturally much harder.
Alanyaspor despite of not playing too much top football, did in return show great attitute and response with prior to scoring and red card of its player has provided game at the middle. With reluctance of Fenerbahce providing organised game and also slow game has led them to provide great response and gain confidence as game progressed.
Fenerbahce has provided very worrying image prior to Manchester United game at the Europa League and with the lack of using chances which been created it would have big issues on 20th October. The problem seems to be more psychological.
Trabzonspor has played much more attacking football but didnt manage to pass Akhisar Belediyespor goalkeeper.
In similar manner as Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor carries on providing poor performance at the early stages of the Super League by ending 7th week game against Akhisar Belediyespor with goalless draw despite of providing better football compare to previous games.
It needs to be stated that Trabzonspor had very good attacking football during the game especially during 2nd half but it couldnt pass Akhisar Belediyespor goalkeeper Fatih Ozturk at the game which it had played 1st time with its supporters in this season due of supporter's ban it had from last season.
Trabzonspor did provide some possible game which could provide some positive aspect for upcoming games but taking account that Akhisar Belediyespor is not having good season compare to their previous season. Trabzonspor did provide an attacking football at the 2nd half and showed signs that it wants to win the game and Akhisar Belediyespor didnt manage to control game but performance of goalkeeper has provide one of the best performance of this week. With supporters coming actively to the game, their might be happy with performance but with scoreline it is still dissapointed.
With Akhisar Belediyespor being one of the eye-catching teams of the last season, however it didnt start this season in a way that it was planning to do and it needs to improve especially at the attacking front. It could be very risky for them to rely into goalkeeper for upcoming games.
Trabzonspor has shown more eye-pleasing football especially prior to the Galatasaray but it would get higher motivation boost for a game if it managed to win the game. Trabzonspor as been stated earlier needs to just get motivation and confidence for results to come.
Galatasaray has won an important game despite of poor performance.
Galatasaray has won a very crucial game at the away game against Genclerbirligi as its opponent who it has tough time for few years and carries on its race for leadership at the table with Basaksehirspor and Besiktas. However, it does need to be stated that Galatasaray didnt provide its top football.
Galatasaray did start game in very good manner with Bruma scoring at the 13th minute and prior to goal their provided lots of attacks with aiming to find early goal in this crucial game but however as time progressed it went into more passive game with some extend Genclerbirligi allowing them to do so. At the weekend, where top 3 teams did provide poor performance it was important for
Galatasaray for at least get a win. In fact, Galatasaray has won many times in its history while playing poorly at the game. Galatasaray has slowed down entirely during 2nd half of the game which could be seen as the worst half for a team in this season. Galatasaray player Fernando Muslera has once again became hero of the game with saving number of dangerous balls during 2nd half and has surely saved a game for his team. This reliability by team to him is in fact could be very worrying in future games as it was last season.
Despite of all downsides, Galatasaray has got an important win and is looking forward for Trabzonspor game on 22nd October where it would surely aim to get a win as it is now gained high motivation as it did start season in great mood.
