What happened in Turkish football today? 11.10.2016
Media is unhappy for Fatih Terim staying as Turkish National Team head coach.
Following poor start of the Turkish national team at the World Cup Qualfiers and the conflict with the Arda Turan among other players, Turkish sports media as would been expected has become an attack against head coach Fatih Terim.
There are talks among those media that Fatih Terim should announce his resignation as his currently is doing damage to the team with his high ego and having trouble at making correct tactics for games prior to Ukraine and Iceland at the World Cup Qualifiers does only damage for national team chances to get to World Cup. Following Euro 2016 Turkish national team didnt win any single game, losing 1 and drawing 3, which also includes friendly game against Russia. Meanwhile, there are talks at the media that Hakan Balta and Fatih Terim had a very heated argument at the half-time in game against Ukraine which has led him to be substituted and taken away from the squad prior to game against Iceland. Fatih Terim has stated that Hakan Balta became injured but Galatasaray didnt make an announcement about any injury. Fatih Terim recent events scandal events and his ego does damage for him and also national team for sure.
It is known that Turkish Football Federation still supports for him to stay at the post, one of the reason being compensation. However, as was case with Fenerbahce and Vitor Pereira, TFF might lose patience if results will not come up as soon as possible.
Emre Mor needs to get psychological guidelines for him to develop as great player.
One of the subject which has also been discussed actively following World Cup Qualfiers of the Turkey has been latest behaviour and stand taken by Turkish National Team player Emre Mor. He has been observed to play more ignorant games and get angry very easily.
Even through those signs are good things, it still need to be stated that this behaviour especially at the age of 19 are worrying. The positive side of this is his hunger to make everything perfect and wanting to score a goal. But too much focus on this could only provide damage and end his career as early as it started. It is been reported that Turkish National Team head coach Fatih Terim has connected to ex-player Nuri Sahin to monitor nerves of the Emre Mor and give him guidelines in the future so he would be able to control his nerves more better. It is important for Emre Mor to get help outside for him to develop and control his nerves, since if he stays alone his situation and behaviour would only become worse to control it and become more angry in upcoming games.
It is important to take care of the Emre Mor for his future as he is turning out to be a very important player for future of worldwide and Turkish football.
Besiktas will start FIFA case against Ozyakup manager for unethical tactics used for transfer interests.
Besiktas would be going to a FIFA court to complain about unnamed Italian manager who is reported to provide false information to their player Oguzhan Ozyakup to make transfer to the Far East countries.
It is reported that named manager has told to the Oguzhan Ozyakup that he currently recieves 1.4 million euro, but he could recieve around 3 million euro at the Far East clubs as it is his actual value as a player. It is reported that this conversation has been reported to Besiktas administrators by Ozyakup himself and the team plans to start legal action against this unethical move by the player manager. The reasoning is obvious been seen as manipulation of the team player which is very unethical and is surely done behind doors of the club. Oguzhan Ozyakup being loyal to his team did right thing to report that to a team.
It is unclear if case will be won by Besiktas but it would surely send strong message to Italian manager for such action is not accepted by a team and also players and will be known by other managers of the players at the team.
