Motivated and confident Turkey will play against Portugal.
Turkish National Team after beating underdogs of the group Georgia with 3:1 scoreline would be now aiming to get its first win in history against favourites of group Portugal but as expected it would be difficult game.
As it was noted on previous posts, Turkey defence doesnt provide much hope when coming to Portugal which does have very good attacking game and hence role of defenders would be needed to be raised and Samet who has shown good performance against Georgia would need to raise his performance if he aims to stop players like Ronaldo, Jota and Coinceacao. As it is known historically Turkey which is being emotional team tends to raise its performance level after getting win and vice versa, and hence we might see more attacking and confident Portugal as role of attackers like Kenan Yildiz and of course Arda Guler would be playing an important role during counter-attacks of the game.
Portugal would be coming as clear favourites but motivated and confident of Turkey would be aiming to provide some issues and realistically best it can hope for draw.
Portugal has squad full of stars.
When coming to Portugal, it needs to be mentioned that it didnt necessarily provide dominant game against Czech Republic even through it did manage ot overpass organised defence as role of Ronaldo has been questioned at team.
Still, when looking at the squad it needs to be mentioned that it has outstanding squad with full of stars and when looking in overall are being more quality squad compare to Turkey. Even through we keep stating that Czech defence didnt manage to prevent Portugal for end game with draw, it still did keep Portugal under its control until last minute so Turkey does need to be stay focus for 90 minutes. Turkey would also need to provide good defence of Ronaldo with preventing him to get control of game but with other players being in high level it needs not to forget about them.
Portugal are coming out as favourites and does have good attackers and without doubt would create issue to Turkey in duration of whole game.
Czechs are favourites against Georgia.
As Czech Republic will be meeting with Georgia, it would be expected for them to get win against team which came to Germany without any pressure and hence Turkey get 1 point will not be bad result.
Georgia did provide an impressive performance against Turkey but still it is being side which is expected to end group stage with 0 points and hence it does look like things would be left at Turkey and Czechs game and it would be hoped that Georgia possibly might provide some difficult time which could affect Czechs physical condition prior to Turkey game. Hence, Turkey as been noted best result it can get from Portugal would be 1 point but it would be very crucial.
Czechs are being clear favourites against Georgia and likely would be aiming to get better average than Turkey as there is possibility of both ending with same points.
