Turkey showed good attacking game despite of losing to Poland
Turkish National Team has concluded its Euro2024 friendlies game with a loss against Poland as it did concede at last minute from Zalewski as game has ended with 2:1 scoreline but it could be stated in general Turkey did provide good performance despite of result.
Once again it is important to remind that there must not be too much criticism towards international friendlies and in fact losing games could be more beneficial as it allows to look game more critical manner and look for solutions of the issue. As been noted, Turkey didnt provide necessarily poor performance especially at the attack as side did show positive and attacking game creating high number of the chances among scoring from Baris Alper Yilmaz and in fact with introduction of Arda Guler to field side did show good game. On negative aspects, Turkey did provide pretty poor defensive game as it did concede goals from simple mistakes of defenders and with having some absences at the field on defence did pay its costs and more likely this would be especially mostly focussed area from this game.
Coming from Poland, it did come out to game at home ground at biggest stadium of country as both supporters and players has aimed to get win prior to travelling to Germany and this has effect to its gamewise as both sides did hsow positive game. It needs to be mentioned that Poland did show positive view before Euro 2024.
Turkey did lose game against Poland due of last minute but it did show some good performance with good attacking game but did lack defensive game. However, Turkey does provide signs of optimism as it would meet with Georgia after 8 days.
Youth player Yasin Ozcan has been called to main squad for game against Poland.
Turkish National Team under-21 player player Yunus Ozcan has been taken into main team squad for international friendly game against Poland as player did show some good performance at youth team.
It needs to be mentioned that following decision from head coach Vincenzo Montella and his technical staff has been as reward for good performance from Yasin Ozcan at youth side and also provide him adoptation at being in such level of the side as it is clear that Vincenzo Montella does see player as potential star both at national team and also in Turkish football in general and possibly would consider to call him to squad during World Cup 2026 qualifiers. Yasin Ozcan meanwhile does have opportunity to both get adapted to this environment and also prove his potentiality to everyone involved at national side.
This is being good opportunity and adaptation period for Yasin Ozcan and he would need to enjoy it for sure.
Bodrum signs Yusuf Sertkaya for 5-years
With more than 1-month left until start of the summer transfer window, Bodrum has announced signing of Bursaspor player Yusuf Sertkaya for 5-years hence becoming 1st side to make transfer in this summer transfer window.
It needs to be mentioned that it is player who does have lots of potential due of his young age and also with this transfer Bodrum does show sign that it would be focussing for young potential player rather than signing experienced players which tends to be case with newcomers to top league all the time. This transfer could provide important strength due of potentiality of player without doubt.
