Galatasaray gets to quarter-final of Turkish Cup after beating Bandirmaspor

Galatasaray has got its ticket to quarter-final after beating 1st league side Bandirmaspor with 4:2 scoreline at home ground as it did find 2 goals from penalty and did have some scare as scoreline at one point became 3:2 from 3:0.

It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray even through did go through some crucial rotations at starting 11, it still did come in pretty strong squad and has also been 1st game for Carlos Vinicios who did score his 1st goal in the last minute of the game. Galatasaray did have pretty good start of the game with providing lots of pressure to Bandirmaspor goal with finding pretty an early goal thanks to the Davinson Sanchez and after 2 penalty goals did come in period of 36th and 40th minutes. However after that Galatasaray did show some relaxation which has led for Bandirmaspor to find goal at the end of 1st half and also scoring on 77th minute, an issue which could be criticised from Galatasaray perspective. It is likely for team to get lessons from this period as relaxation has almost brought game into difficult condition.

Bandirmaspor meanwhile despite of getting 3:0 behind has shown its all and awaring that its not losing anything has provided strong reaction and did have some effective organised attacking game and did provide good fighting spirit in 2nd half as this would rise self-confidence for team for sure.

Galatasaray hence with this win gets to quarter-final of Turkish Cup despite of having short period scare against 1st league team.

Fenerbahce will be favourites against Gaziantep at Turkish Cup.

Fenerbahce are going to resume its Turkish Cup defence against Gaziantep at the last 16 stage as team would be expected to come out with 2nd squad despite of playing with fellow Super League side.

Even through Fenerbahce are expected to be coming out with its 2nd squad it would be still be seen as favourite as those players are being with high quality and have all potential to show strong performance in this level and in fact could be extra motivated to get an eye to the Ismail Kartal as Fenerbahce would be coming to very important game. Stating that, it needs to be reminded that Gaziantep has been side which did one of the most problems at league during this calendar year and it would be aiming once again to show strong and positive performance at defensive line but quality factor will play important role here for sure.

Fenerbahce are being seen as favourite even if it would be coming out with 2nd squad but Gaziantep will be aiming to show strong performance also.

Alanyaspor loans Ui Jo Hwang

Alanyaspor has loaned Nothingam Forest player Ui Jo Hwang until end of the season as player would provide some good experience and level of performance at team even through he didnt get much playing time at Forest.

Alanyaspor is being one of the sides which tries to get further from relegation zone and hence needed to get some effective transfers during mid-season transfer window and Hwang for sure is being one of those names as he does have some good potential and is being player which is eventually showing improvement in recent years. Therefore, it is expected for him to have some positive impact into team during 2nd half of the season.

Alanyaspor as been noted been side which needs to strength its side and Ui Jo Hwang does look to be potentially as an effective transfer.
