Semih Kilicsoy 2:0 Trabzonspor
Win against Trabzonspor with 2:0 scoreline for Besiktas should not provide wrong observation for the team as it needs to be noted that team did win single-handedly with top level performance from Semih Kilicsoy.
Semih Kilicsoy without doubt one of his best performance during whole his footballing career, being only 18, but same couldnt be said for whole Besiktas as it didnt show anything else in such game. Besiktas apart of Semih Kilicsoy positions, didnt provide much danger into Trabzonspor goal and did provide pretty low performance and as Fernando Santos has stated after game, team needs to be aware that it has some serious issues and need to carry on trainings.
Besiktas therefore did gain 3rd spot and did gain an important confidence and motivation but it does need to show more effective game to carry on winning.
Trabzonspor wasnt much worser than Besiktas but still it showed poor game.
Semih Kilicsoy top-level performance doesnt provide Besiktas to be much more dominant game illusion, but also provides wrong view that Trabzonspor did show worser game than Besiktas.
Trabzonspor also as Besiktas didnt show good performance as decline of team is continuing but if comparing both teams performance on the field it should be noted that it wasnt much worser. In fact, if Kilicsoy was Trabzonspor player, Black Sea side would have won game with same result. Trabzonspor did create some good chances but did lack last touches both with shots and passes which did prevent to find goal and even more possession at the game, an area which needs to be improved as it fights for Conference League spots.
Trabzonspor therefore does continue showing poor performance and need to show more agressive game at attack.
Galatasaray is expected to have full control against Bandirmaspor
Galatasaray are going to resume its Turkish Cup campaign as it would be meeting with 1st league side Bandirmaspor with it expected to play mainly with players who didnt get much playing time at the league.
With Galatasaray showing strong performance for title race at the league, it would be expect to transform similar confidence and motivation towards Turkish Cup even if it would be coming with 2nd squad. Galatasaray would be likely looking for an early goal in similar manner as it did against Samsunspor so it would be able to show relaxed and controllable game.This game would be also good opportunity for its 2nd squad players to show their performance. Bandirmaspor would be expected to focus into defensive game looking for some counter-attacks chances.
Galatasaray would be coming out as clear favourites even with 2nd squad and expected to show dominant game.
