Besiktas gets through Neftci Baku with good performance on 2nd half.
Besiktas has managed to reach to the Conference League where it going to meet with Dynamo Kyiv which tends to long term rival for Turkish clubs and from which it did get some mixed results in recent years.
It needs ot be mentioned that Neftci Baku did provide some worries to Besiktas side at home ground as it did get ahead with 1:0 scoreline thanks to Mahmudov and hence did reduce aggregate to one goal which led also side to provide some more attacking game however introduction of Vincent Aboubakar to the field has been turning point for them as side started showing much more attacking game and did found 2 goals thanks to Aboubakar himself and Muleka which led for Neftci Baku to lose concentration and confidence as game has been developed.
With this outcome as been mentioned Besiktas gets to play-off round with 5:2 aggregate scoreline and now would play with Dynamo Kyiv.
Fenerbahce gets an easy win at controversial game.
Fenerbahce continued showing a confident performance against Maribor during 2nd leg as it got 3:0 win in Slovenia and hence has won full tie with 6:1 aggregate scoreline and now would meet with Dutch side Twente.
It needs to be mentioned that rather relying on advantage scoreline Fenerbahce did look for a goal from start of the game and hence did find one with Irfan Can Kahveci who in total did show strong and confident performance. It needs to be mentioned that at the game where 2nd half everything has been clear,there was some unnecessarily behaviour from Maribor ultras which did raise tension with Fenerbahce due of getting of Turkish side banner which did raise some heated arguments and let Fenerbahce supporters to leave stadium. Fenerbahce has made statement that it would go through events which happened in that moment as this are certainly are not acceptable at all. Fenerbahce after game has been resumed showed more attacking game and did find 2 more goals as this incident seemed to motivate players.
Fenerbahce did get thorugh without much issue but it would be having tough game against Twente at play-off round.
Adana Demirspor did have small scare from Osijek
Adana Demirspor did come out with most advantegous scoreline against Osijek during 2nd leg and this did provide some relaxation as it did have short term scare when game became 3:1 as it won 1st leg with 5:1 scoreline.
It needs to be mentioned that Osijek did give everything to the game compare to 1st leg and did find lots of goals as it did aim for getting historical turnaround while Adana Demirspor seemed to be much more relaxed. Still, after game turned into 3:1 Adana Demirspor did show good reaction and start controlling game more and Sari goal on 80th minute did put last word of the game. Adana Demirspor without doubt did mark an important win at its own history but it would need to get lessons with this result as it would need to improve at away games especially opponent like Genk.
Adana Demirspor are writing history but there are as been mentioned an areas where it would need to improve on in upcoming weeks.
