Galatasaray reaches to Champions League group stage.
Galatasaray road to Champions League group stage is going pretty smoothly as it has reached to play-off round after beating Olimpija Ljubjana with 4:0 aggregate scoreline as Mauro Icardi on yesterday game has added another tally to final result.
It needs to be stated that 1s leg result of 3:0 had an impact to performance of both sides which led Galatasaray to get win without much issues as due of quality and demotivation of Olimpija Ljubjana it didnt respond much. Fenerbahce would be coming out Maribor 2nd leg with an advantage of 3:1 scoreline and only area which it could be having is that it playing an away game, as an overall it would be coming as confident favourite for play-off round.
It needs to be admitted that Fenerbahce did have good start of the season as it did win all the games and players showing signs of slowly being adapted to new system and team and hence it would be accepted to show positive game performance against Maribor. An important issue here should be given to show good organised defensive game in the start of the game if it doesnt want to get into trouble but playing like it did so far, especially at Europe, would be key to get result which it seeks for.
Fenerbahce are not expected to have much issues against Maribor but would need to pay some attention in start might look for an early goal.
Besiktas are coming out as favourites against Neftci Baku
Even through Besiktas would also come to Neftci Baku game with 3:1 advantage from 1st leg, it does have an advantage to play its game at home ground.
It needs to be mentioned that Neftci Baku didnt provide resistance which was excepted from them during 1st leg which did lead for Besiktas to get 2 early goals and hence result which it seeks for. Stating that,it still could be noted that Besiktas does lack tempo as so far it didnt manage to provide highly tempo game for 90 minutes at any game and Neftci key could be use this moments to its advantage but again it could have trouble to do so at Besiktas stadium. Besiktas would need to stay calm and organised among providing creative performance at front.
Besiktas will be coming favourites and providing organising game could be enough to get result which it seeks for.
