What happened in Turkish football today? 31/07/2023

Fenerbahce would come out to game where it would be playing at formality mood.

Fenerbahce would be coming out to 2nd leg of the Conference League 2nd qualifying round game against Zimbru in Moldavia as it got 5:0 huge advantage and very likely we might be seeing differnet names in this game.

When looking how Zimbru has performed during 1st leg of the tie, Zimbru is not being at level of Fenerbahce to all their respect and it needs to be mentioned alone trying to get historical turnaround possibility is being very low, it would also have difficulty to even get closer to that aim even through it could be playing for win at least. Therefore,it would be expected that Fenerbahce would provide much more calmer game compare to 1st leg and likely would also come out with an alternative squad, seeing 2nd squad of Ismail Kartal for upcoming season.

Fenerbahce would be coming out to game without having any pressure and this would have without doubt possibly impact to final performance of the game.

Besiktas signs Ante Rebic for 2-years

Besiktas has signed AC Milan player Ante Rebic for 2-years making it so far most eyue-catching transfer during summer transfer window as player would be able to provide significant strength at midfielding area.

Besiktas supporters without doubt would be happy with this transfer both due to the fact that it has signed a goods player without doubt and also ended its pretty quitness during this summer transfer window. Ante Rebic is being player which could provide top level at the whole field being especially focussed into attacking midfielding and could be provide significant strength at attack.

Therefore,it has been an important transfer for side without doubt and would have significant effect on upcoming season.

Galatasaray has terminated contract wetih Atalay Babacan.

Galatasaray has terminated contract with its player Atalay Babacan who didnt recieve any playing time during previous season and hence his leaving club would been good development for all parties.

It needs to be stated that Babacan is actually pretty good player but in all fairness his not in level of Galatasaray or in fact at any of the top 3 clubs so his move potentially to mediocre Turkish club at Super League would be able for him to show stronger and effective performance which would lead him to be feeling much more comfortable in this club and hence it would be good development for all parties.

Therefore, Atalay Babacan would now look for new club probably from mediocre Super League sides
