What happened in Turkish football today? 25/11/2022

Bringing foreign referees to Turkey has been reopened by some of CEO.

Following Club's Union which took place on 24th November, talks about including foreign referees into Super League both as VAR and main referee has been reopened again.

Accoring to post-meeting announcements by some of the club's CEO and also rumours from inside, it is reported that there are some parts of CEO who are against including of foreign referees into the league but majority are for such suggestion. However, in our view solution doesnt seem to be case with foreign referees as there is no quarantee at all that there would provide top level performance as VAR system is not perfect in other countries. In fact, similar wrong decision are being made all around the world with only issue that this subject is not being dominating both by club administrators and media, so sound from those countries is not as loud as in Turkey regarding complains of referees.

Rather than calling foreign referees we believe that solution should be given within with an aim to improve referee performance with education and training programs.

Clubs are resuming training sessions.

With some of the clubs has resumed training sessions and others would be starting in short period of time, it needs to be mentioned that this training period during this World Cup is being to some extend similar to pre-season atmosphere.

With clubs doing some training sessions at own facilities and later moving to Antalya with majority due of weather conditions, would also play high number of friendly games. With transfer window not being open until January this break would allow clubs to improve performance of existing squads and possibly also identify some players who might be put into selling list and focus into replacement of the transfers. Hence, this break as been noted beforehand is being good opportunity for clubs to work into improving performance which been shown so far in season and also make side more competitive.

It is important to have this training period in successful manner as this would identify possibly rest of the season performance of clubs.

Fatih Karagumruk has made principal deal with Sofiane Feghouli

It is reported that Fatih Karagumruk has made transfer deal with Sofiane Feghouli who didnt recieve lots of playing time at Galatasaray in recent period of time.

Even through there is time until mid-season transfer window there are some works for Super League clubs at the transfer front as Fatih Karagumruk are reported to be making transfer deal with Sofiane Feghouli with player being adapted to this league and side is being side with some high aims this could be also be good option for player. Without doubt, with this transfer Fatih Karagumruk would be able to improve its performance as he could become one of the key players in the side.

As always we would follow transfer developments of such topic as it could be just rumour and would update with latest news.
