Turkey has started friendlies period in good manner.
Turkish National Team has started 2-game friendly period with positive manner as it has managed to get win against Scotland with 2:1 scoreline and has shown strong and confident for first 60 minutes.
This game is being crucial one as it is being to some extend start of its Euro2024 qualifying campaign, to regain confidence after poor end of Nations League and also its being 1st game in Diyarbakir. Turkey it needs to be mentioned did provide strong attacking game and also organised defence to which Scotland especially in attack couldnt respond much and did found 2 great goals. Only issue is that Turkey did lose such dominance in last 30 minutes which led for Scotland to provide much more attacking game. In same time, such poor last 30 minutes could be mentioned could be seen as good things as this friendlies let technical staff members to identify issues which exist and without doubt this period did identify that team has some stamina issues.
Some players are taken from Turkish National Team squad.
Still, this has been good win and has provided important motivation and confidence to national side.
There were some players were taken from squad prior to Czech Republic friendly game with two players been taken out due of injuries and 2 from aggreement with their clubs.
Ferdi Kadioglu has been taken out from squad during friendly game against Scotland while Kerem Akturkoglu has become injured during training session which he didnt compete while due of agreement with their clubs Irfan Can Kahveci and Orkun Kokcu as their clubs very likely has made this decision to keep safe its players from possible injuries and keep them fit for resuming of training session during this World Cup break. With such manner meanwhile there is higher chance for young players who been called to national side to get some playign time against Czech Republic.
Without doubt, since this being friendlies game there is hope that no injuries will take place but unfortunately it does happen as there is always chance during training session.
