What happened in Turkish football today? 07/09/2022

Fenerbahce are in better condition from 2 months ago but Dynamo Kyiv has emotional motivation.

Fenerbahce would be starting its Europa League group stage campaign with game against Dynamo Kyiv which it sees as revenge for getting relegated at Champions League 2nd qualifying round earlier this season.

It needs to be mentioned that main reason why Fenerbahce has been relegated back in July has been mainly due of not being entirely ready as side and using its opportunities, among red card recieved during 2nd leg. Right now, Fenerbahce is being in much better form and start finding goals even through it does have some issues. Meanwhile, Dynamo Kyiv didnt start season well in its own country, league which been played in unusual circumstances, but it needs to be mentioned that it is expected for Ukrainian clubs, including Dynamo Kyiv, to be coming out in different motivation to European games due of situation at they country. Best example of this is suprising win from Shakhtar Donetsk against RB Leipzig.

Therefore, it could be noted that Fenerbahce would be more focussed into sportive motivation while Dynamo Kyiv is more emotional, and it would be interesting to see who would be more victorious.

Trabzonspor needs to give all focus to Ferencvaros game.

Trabzonspor it needs to be mentioned would be coming out to Ferencvaros game with low motivation and confidence due of ineffective performance at the league and also relegation from Copenhagen.

Trabzonspor mentally could be feeling that side should not be competing at this competition and hence would be lacking to be highly motivated to such crucial game and also lacking self-confidence due of recent results. It needs to be mentioned that Ferencvaros is being at good form right now at domestic league and also being among sides which are experienced at this tournament. Due of level of the side, Trabzonspor might be downgrading Hungarian side much more than it deserves to be and this has been one of the main issues for Turkish club unsuccessful results in Europe. Hence, Trabzonspor would hence need to focus to this game mentally entirely if it wants to get win.

Trabzonspor are favourite due of quality of squad but formwise Hungarian side are coming out in much higher confidence level.

Basaksehirspor would need to provide pressure to get win against Hearts.

Basaksehirspor would be starting its Conference League against Scottish side Hearts as it would be coming in very good and confidence as it would be aiming to carry on such top performance in this game.

It needs to be mentioned that Scottish sides are having very good European season so far and without doubt Hearts would be equally motivated for this game especially as it would be their first European competition on their history. Basaksehirspor on other hand is being more experienced at this area and needs to use this advantage among playing its top level game. Without forgetting respect to Hearts, Basaksehirspor would need to provide pressure to its opponent whole game.

Basaksehirspor are favourites but it needs to be providing pressure to also prove to its opponents that it is being one.
