What happened in Turkish football today? 06/09/2022

Galatasaray has won Gaziantep with strong attacking game.

Galatasaray has got well-fought and deserved win against Gaziantep during Super League 5th week with finding goal from Haris Seferovic at last minute of the game and has ended undefeated run of the opponent.

What is most important here is that Galatasaray did play with an absent player due of Abdulkerim Bardakci 2nd yellow card during end of the 1st half and also it needs to be noted poor performance of the coach both with his decisions and cutting game often. Still, Galatasaray without doubt has shown strong character during 90 minutes with being much better side and being focussed with creating high number of the opportunities and providing pressure to Gaziantep goal. Even through it did concede first during game, it has been side which created and looked for opportunities. Only issue which could be noted from Galatasaray is into effectiveness how it has converted as they didnt score more goals due of issues at last touches or unluckiness.

Still, Galatasaray has shown effective attacking game and got well-deserved fought win.

Clubs has given visit to TFF headquarters as sign of support.

Clubs Union and some players from Super League sites has given get well visit to the TFF headquarters with an aim to show togetherness and stance against terror attempts to be taking place at Turkish football.

Without doubt, this attacking to TFF headquarters has provided pretty unexpected and shocking effect towards whole Turkish football community and this visit without doubt has provided support and strong message. It needs to be mentioned that attack to Galatasaray Island, artificial spot which is controlled by Galatasaray in Istanbul, has also been gun attacked some days ago which does raise questions if those issues are being connected.

It is now important for TFF and all clubs to show such togetherness and aim to reduce tension at Turkish football with standing together not only with words but also actions for sure.

Giresunspor signed Jorman Camponara for 4-years

Giresunspor has signed Boca Juniors player Jorman Camponara for 4-years and hence has strength they squad even more as we getting close to end of transfer window.

Giresunspor it needs to be mentioned did start season in pretty good form but it needs to carry on in such manner for not having scare of being relegated and for sure signing Camponara who is being player with good experience and also in same time still with some potential, has been good signing for the team and would help to achieve during this season and move team ahead in future as it is being pretty long term deal. Camponara has all quality to become important player at the team as long as he got through adaptation period in short notice.

Giresunspor hence did sign an important player for themselves and has created team which would be aiming and fighting for top spots in upcoming years.
