Fenerbahce has shown great comeback against Rennes.
Fenerbahce has got very important draw against Rennes as the game has been played at very exciting tempo and pace as both sides has fought for win especially during 2nd half with aim to be favourite right now for knockout stages from both clubs.
It needs to be mentioned that it was clear that both sides has been looking for win when game has started as both sides did look for high number of chances but it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce did provide some issues at defensive game as it allowed for Rennes to create some opportunities and attacks. However, it has provided some good attacking performance and it needs to be mentioned that it has been important for Fenerbahce to turn around game from 2:0 to 2:2 scoreline, especially as it has conceded between 51st - 54th minute but Irfan Can Kahveci great goal on 60th minute has changed game into hand for Fenerbahce and also red card towards end let for side to find equaliser. This game still showed that Fenerbahce has some defensive issues but does have good attacking game.
Rennes has provided more controllable game during 1st half but start showing much more attacking and aggresive game which led for them to find with good counterattacks and has found 2:0 leadership but Fenerbahce showed great comeback.
Fenerbahce did make some defensive mistakes but has shown an important comeback in difficult away game and this point could be crucial one for side to get into knockout stage.
Trabzonspor got an important 3 points against Crvena Zvezda and restarted campaign
Trabzonspor has got an important win during Europa League 2nd week against one of the leading Balkan side, Crvena Zvezda, with 2:1 scoreline and got first 3 points of this campaign with providing much more attacking game and using its home ground.
It needs to be mentioned that even through its been a home win and its support did play an important role, stadium hasnt been able to be filled as expected which could be showing some signs of distrust from supporters. However, Trabzonspor did start an attacking game and did find an openning goal with Marek Hamsik who has played his first game after injury and without doubt has shown his importance to the side as among scoring this goal, he has generally led side to be providing much more attacking game. Crvena Zvezda meanwhile has been in decline in recent years and did come with strong name, but couldnt provide much pressure to opponent even through there were some chances. Crvena Zvezda did end this 2 games without points and does look to be outsider on table and performance wise right now.
Trabzonspor without doubt has restarted its Europa League journey and possibly whole season with this 3 points.
Basaksehirspor gets impressive win against Fiorentina with 3:0 scoreline
Basaksehirspor are continuing showing great performance and attacking performance both in domestic league and also at Conference League as it won with impressive scoreline of 3:0 against favourite of the group Fiorentina.
It needs to be mentioned that both sides did show pretty passive game during 1st half and didnt create much opportunities with Basaksehirspor to some extend showing respect to their opponents, but with Fiorentina didnt look to be dangerous has led for Basaksehirspor to provide much more aggressive and forward seeking performance which led for side to find 3 goals with 2 coming from Serdar Gurler, with Turkish side sending strong message both to opponent and all opponents as it is being favourite in the group. It needs to be mentioned also that as it does in recent week Basaksehirspor once again ended game with conceding goal with very nice organised defence.
Fiorentina which does have poor season did possibly look for this game as turning point, but Basaksehirspor strong performance both in defence and attack has affected to their performance and it does look Italian side will have difficult campaign in tournament.
Basaksehirspor continues showing strong performance in Conference League and with this results has become favourite to come out from group as leaders without doubt.
