What happened in Turkish football today? 10/09/2022

Galatasaray would be aiming to show positive strong game.

Galatasaray would be resuming its Super League campaign against Kasimpasa as it would be aiming to get its first win after getting very impressive transfers during summer transfer window deadline.

This transfer window, especially 5 transfers which it made, has been focussed into sending strong message to Turkish football community and its supporters that it is being renewed side for this season compare to previous one. With taking account that so far, performance of side has not been very satisfactorily as when it did win games it has done in pretty difficult manner, it would be important to send strong message that it would be providing strong performance after transfer window. It is true that many players in the side would not be playing due of  not being ready but it would be important to change set of mind for side. Kasimpasa meanwhile would be having plans to spoil those plans but it need to provide strong confident performance to achieve this and be aware that opponent is not fully read yet.

Galatasaray are coming out as favourite but it still has issues to provide this factor with how side competes so far during games.

Josef de Souza is shocked with his red card.

Aftermath following red card of the Besiktas player Josef de Souza as he was protecting his teammates from Ankaragucu supporter which invaded field during Super League 5th week game continues, as side is unhappy that red card wasnt cancelled.

Josef de Souza argues, rightfully, that this card wasnt given in right condition as he was protecting both his teammates and referee and he still doesnt believe into justice of such decision as he did cry after making statement. In pretty shocking manner he made statement that he doesnt have trust to Turkish football anymore and hence considers to end him playing in Super League as he believes this would take place again in future and he would not be able to accept it. Meanwhile, Besiktas administrator Engin Baltaci has stated that he wasnt able to give defence to arbitration committee as it didnt accept and stated that argument that de Souza attacking  supporter is not supported with any video material.

This even hence would be accepted to raise tension between TFF and Besiktas in near future for sure.

Both Fenerbahce and Dynamo Kyiv showed aggresive game.

Aftermath regarding of how game been played between Fenerbahce and Dynamo Kyiv is continuing to be taking place as both sides blame itself of game to be played in agressive manner and stating that opposite side has been harsh and wasted time.

It needs to be mentioned that even through Dynamo Kyiv has been playing more aggressively and created lots of fouls, Fenerbahce has also shown some harsh game. However, the game itself could be played in harsh manner and going into aggresive style of game as Jorge Jesus has stated. Main problem here in our view is being that both sides is doing blame game to opposite side and hence throwing blame for such game to each other. It would be more productive if both sides accept that they done physical game which led for many fouls.

Also, in our view its normal for Fenerbahce to show such passion and agressive during game but it needed to show some understanding and empathy to side which goes such difficulties right now.
