Turkey should not allowed Luxembourg to become so confident during game.
Turkish National Team 3:3 draw against Luxembourg has brought satisfaction of side achieving its main task of getting back to League B at Nations League but even more brought dissapointment as it d
idnt manage to win much weaker opponent with conceding 3 goals.
It needs to be mentioned, when looking neutrally,that Luxembourg team which does improve in recent years, did provide some good performance and has shown good attitude against Turkey with getting even upper hand in some moments. However, it needs to be underlined that Turkey poor performance has allowed Luxembourg to get confident to the game and has allowed opponent. In other words, if Turkey played its best game it might not have scored more than 3 goals still, but surely will not let concede goal as defenders has provided very poor performance. Positive of the fact that Turkey still got promoted means that it could analyse such loss without environment of pressure from media as it would be able to recognise its mistakes.
Turkey would be concluding Nations League at formality game against Faroe Islands, as opponent has secured its spot at League C with draw against Lithuania and Turkey could look for confident win against them.
There were some changes at national team due of injuries.
Meanwhile, there were some changes at Turkish National Team squads due of injuries and also Cengiz Under not allowing to play against Faroe Islands due of injury.
Among injured list of Merih Demiral, Orkun Kokcu who were injured prior to game, the list has been included with Caglar Soyuncu who has hit into post while trying to save ball from entering to net at 1st conceded goal, a situation which would have some unwanted consequences remembering how concrere posts tend to be. Players which has joined will be Cenk Ozkacar, Ravil Tagil, Berkay Ozcan and Umut Bozok who would also likely get opportunity to play against Faroe Islands and prove themselves to get opportunity to play and prove themselves to be worthy for selection in future.
Hence, upcoming game is good opportunity for newly-joined players for sure.
Trabzonspor will have tougher season compare to previous one.
Despite of poor start with Trabzonspor, there is belief that club could turn around its performance after national team break but so far performance is not being very satisfied.
When looking generally it is hard to continue top level performance for title holders as issue starts on summer transfer window with losing number of important players and having issue to replace them without other players.This has been more or less issue with Trabzonspor and with getting some injuries in addition, has affected negatively to team without doubt. Even if it did win last 2 official games, it still not in level which supporters and Abdullah Avci are willing to. This national team break is being good opportunity to Trabzonspor but rather then focussing into players it does look like Avci would need to look for change of tactics.
Trabzonspor is being side which can fight for title race but it wont be as simple as previous season for sure.
