What happened in Turkish football today? 29/09/2022

Istanbul mayorship announced that no away fans will be allowed during derbies.

Istanbul mayorship has made statement that during games between big 3 clubs, namely Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas away fans would not be allowed to be entering to game which includes this week derby game.

As been noted at previous blog entry, there seems to be hooliganism behaviour between supporters which runs to old times and before this ban has been put for first time back in 2010's there were some unwanted events during matchdays so this decision without doubt has been right one and would reduce tension which exists between supporters and would prevent injuries and even deaths between supporters.

It does look like that this decision would be staying for long time as hooliganistic action between those 3 clubs supporters still exist and will not be solved easily.

Kevin Nkoudou has become injured.

Besiktas player Kevin Nkoudou has become injured during training session as this development without doubt would not be wanted one prior to derby game against Fenerbahce.

Kevin Nkoudou has provided unbalanced performance during this season as he took one of the leadership role in attack while others looked to be pretty ineffective and it was reasonable to expect that he would have shown good performance in such important game. Taking account how he performed in games which he did show good game, it would be seen as big loss and Valerine Ismael would now look for good replacement at attacking level to support Wout Weghorst.

This injury likely would lead for Ismael to revise his tactics which he did have prior to game.

Ghezzal and Redmond have recovered from injured.

As Kevin Nkoudou has become injured, there were good news from Racchid Ghezzal and Nathan Redmond as players has resumed training sessions and would be expected to be playing against Fenerbahce.

Absence of especially Racchid Ghezzal would have affected team negatively during derby game and him coming possibly to game would be expected to strength attacking midfielding so this would be seen as good development. Nathan Redmond coming back is also good news as he did show signs of recent games to be improving and certainly would take this game against Fenerbahce pretty serious.

Fatih Karagumruk has signed Adem Ljajic for 1.5 years.

Fatih Karagumruk has signed free agent player Adem Ljajic for 1.5 years as he does have some experience in the Super League with Besiktas some years ago.

It needs to be mentioned that Fatih Karagumruk has made an important transfer as even through Adem Ljajic is arguably not in level which he was at previous club, he is being suitable for Fatih Karagumruk aims and level of game and could provide an important role after his contract would go into effect during mid-season transfer window period. Most important advantage for Fatih Karagumruk had experienced at the Super League and would hence get adapted both to it and team in very short time, especially taking account that he does have time until January to sort out adaptation if there would be case.

Hence, it does look like to be right move to use an advantage of Ljajic being free agent and providing good transfer offer.

Fenerbahce has terminated contract with Filip Novak.

Fenerbahce has terminated contract with its player Filip Novak who after successful seasons at Trabzonspor, didnt provide same level performance at his new club and wasnt seen to be used much by Jorge Jesus. 

Novak did have some good period at Trabzonspor, but mainly due of getting older as player he could reach into same performance at Fenerbahce especially there were expectation for side to provide fast game. This without doubt is even more issue during this season, as Fenerbahce tactics is mainly concentrated into providing fast tempo with high number of attacking chances. Due of this, keeping Novak at the team will not be good both to player and his club.

Therefore, this termination has been right decision as player expects to move Al-Rayyad during this week.

FC Baniyas interested to transfer Mauricio Lemos.

FC Baniyas are interested to sign Fenerbahce player Mauricio Lemos as Saudi Arabic transfer deadline would be ended this week.

It needs to be mentioned that this development has been positive one for Fenerbahce, as club doesnt plans for player during this season as was case with Filip Novak. Turkey didnt focus much to last 2 games of Nations League

It needs to be reminded that Turkey did come out to the last 2 games of the Nations League League C Group 1 games against Luxembourg and Faroe Islands needing only 1 point which it did recieve.

Therefore, there is possibility of Turkish National Team technical staff and players at showing some relaxation to those games. Turkey national team has always made successful result at chaos conditions and when it needed to be highly focussed and while playing at relaxed mode it tends to lose points, as hence surprising poor results against weaker side. Both Luxembourg and Faroe Islands has shown full concentration and using their chances of unconcentrated opponent to get point and win in consecutive order. Those games for sure has shown that without focus and respect to opponent you would lose points.

Turkish National Team took those 2 games too lightly hence and paid price for that without doubt.

Sending away Stefan Kuntz will not solve issues.

With getting only 1 point against Luxembourg and Faroe Islands, there rose active criticism towards head coach Stefan Kuntz and call for his resignation but we believe that this is beng. 

It needs to be mentioned foremost that getting 1 point from such opponents for team like Turkey is not being acceptable but there needs to be looked some previous performances with Kuntz, as even through there were not big achievements still it wasnt as bad including taking team to World Cup 2022 play-off games where it lost to Portugal. Therefore, it needs to be identifying issues which are pushing Turkish football down as history shows that regardless how much you change referees poor results tend to be reappear. Therefore, sending Kuntz would not be solution to the problem for sure.

Stefan Kuntz should be changed unless someone like Jose Jesus would come who would change team entirely in few days.

Fenerbahce fans will not be allowed to Besiktas game

TFF has announced that Fenerbahce supporters will not be allowed to Super League 8th week game against Besiktas due of possibility of high tension between supporters which might lead to hooliganism outcomes.

Without doubt, Turkish derbies has been seen as high-risk games as been case in previous games as it has led to unwanted events and even people dying sadly so even through this image is not being present, it does sound like reasonable. In fact, this nostalgic view that stands were diveded into 50/50 is only being part of truth, as it was diveded like that but there were some serious hooliganistic behaviour due of this.

Sadly, this decision is being correct one as it would prevent unwanted events between fans.

Turkey went into humiliating loss against Faroe Islands.

Despite of getting promoted back to the League B at the Nations League, Turkey has got pretty humiliating result against Faroe Islands with 2:1 scoreline, scoring only goal at last minute.

It needs to be mentioned that with strong criticism from media naturally has been went to head coach Stefan Kuntz, but in our view has been for lack of concentration and respect to opponents, as you would fail to win without this regardless level of opponent. Even through focus and concentration when playing against teams like Faroe Islands and lets say Germany will not be same, but not giving any focus and respect to opponent would lead to loss at both cases. With Turkey getting into promotion spot this lack of concentration should be given to this. However,this is unacceptable for Turkey as it didnt get control of any moment during game, and among winning game Faroe Islands did control game, scenario which would be unforeseen even by most harsh Turkish national team critics.

Without doubt, Faroe Islands didnt see this result themselves coming and Turkey gave them one of the biggest wins in they history, if not biggest.

Trabzonspor terminates contract with Anders Trondsen.

Trabzonspor has terminated contract with its player Anders Trondsen after next day when they were rumours that player could be leaving club during mid-season transfer window.

With Trabzonspor paying 1,250,000 euro compensation to Trondsen, it was known that player didnt recieve lots of playing time during this season and wasnt in fact in happy at club due of this situation so it has been natural with club not having plans of him to end contract with player. Anders Trondsen did show some good performance during previous season but there has been decline so club also did right choice in our view.

With Volkan Demirel being appointed to Hatayspor, one of the first moves has been to terminate contract with Muhammed Kamara.

Turkey ended Nations League with humiliating loss

Turkey has got highly unexpected loss to Faroe Islands with 1:0 scoreline as it did come out to the game with securing 1st spot in the group as Turkey didnt show any focus and respect to the opponent.

Ít needs to be mentioned that despite of Turkey securing 1st spot of the group and hence getting back to the League B at the Nations League would have positive impact into side as it would be providing calm but same time agressive game with including as comeback from another unexpected result of Luxembourg with 3:3 scoreline. It needs to be mentioned that Turkey has shown full dominance during June games where more or less secured its promotion, and this has led for too much relaxation from Faroe Islands. What is more sad with this outcome that Faroe Islands has been better side during 90 minutes with looking for some opportunities and has been better side,while Turkey until end of the game has been providing some passive game. Therefore, Turkey has shown that if you dont provide full focus and respect to opponent whoever they are, you would lose game and thats what happened to Turkey.

Faroe Islands without doubt did come out with best result to be getting draw and thats how it looked to be, but as they became aware that this game has been possible to get win it has shown right reaction and in some moments of 2nd half has got into control of the game.

Turkish National Team will be completing its Nations League League C campaign against Faroe Islands as following game would be formality for both sides as Turkey would be aiming to end group stage at high point.

Despite of Turkey securing its last spot during game against Luxembourg, outcome of the game has provided some worry to the followers as it has drawn with 3:3 scoreline against weaker opponent. Besiktas has signed professinal contract with its academy player Demir Ege Tiknaz as it continues to invest its younger players at its hand.

Turkey should not allowed Luxembourg to become so confident during game.

Turkish National Team 3:3 draw against Luxembourg has brought satisfaction of side achieving its main task of getting back to League B at Nations League but even more brought dissapointment as it d
idnt manage to win much weaker opponent with conceding 3 goals.

It needs to be mentioned, when looking neutrally,that Luxembourg team which does improve in recent years, did provide some good performance and has shown good attitude against Turkey with getting even upper hand in some moments. However, it needs to be underlined that Turkey poor performance has allowed Luxembourg to get confident to the game and has allowed opponent. In other words, if Turkey played its best game it might not have scored more than 3 goals still, but surely will not let concede goal as defenders has provided very poor performance. Positive of the fact that Turkey still got promoted means that it could analyse such loss without environment of pressure from media as it would be able to recognise its mistakes.

Turkey would be concluding Nations League at formality game against Faroe Islands, as opponent has secured its spot at League C with draw against Lithuania and Turkey could look for confident win against them.

Turkey has got surprising and dissapointing draw against Luxembourg

Even through Turkish National Team has got into Group B and play-off mini-tournament ticket with 1 point against Liechenstain, but it needs to be mentioned that this 3:3 result has been suprising and dissapointing outcome without doubt.

As it was stated several times in this Nations League, there were statements that Turkey doesnt belong to the League C and to prove that it would need to win all games with scoring high number of goals and without conceding. In defence, to head coach Stefan Kuntz and players this has been achieved so far until this game, but this game has been turn into entirely 180 degrees with Luxembourg has been side which did keep game in between. It needs to be mentioned that Luxembourg has been most difficult side and is being on significant rise, but Turkey needed to get game into more upper hand which it didnt manage and has led for opponents to have high number with 3 goals coming either entirely or partly due of Turkey mistake. This game has been an important lesson for Turkish National Team and Stefan Kuntz as such outcome will not be acceptable even through it did get through. Only positive point has been great goal from Ismail Yuksek who has scored a great goal.

Besiktas player Deli Alli has resumed training session at his club after recovering from injury which without doubt would be seen as positive news especially prior to derby game against Fenerbahce after national team break.

Dele Alli has been loaned to club as one of the key players during this season and has arleady shown good adaptation to the side which could be seen generally during training sessions and also during his first few games at the club and therefore if he would be ready and playing against Fenerbahce he could be pushing forward his side without doubt and hence this should be seen as positive development for sure.

Meanwhile, it also expected for Racchid Ghezzal to recover in short period of time and be ready for Fenerbahce game.

Kenny Sony had an operation.

Hatayspor has announced that its player Keny Sonny has went through operation due of his injury, as struggling side would look into replacenent of him in upcoming weeks.

Turkish National Team will be returning to Nations League Group C 5th week game against Luxembourg with being aware that for being promoted a point enough for them, but Turkey has bigger aim with ending group with high number of goals and without conceding.

Turkey main aim in this campaign, as it got to League C, in the stage where it doesnt belong to is to show that as team it is much higher than this league and has managed to do so without doubt in successful with dominating all games so far as been expected. Luxembourg it needs to be mentioned is being biggest opponent for side during this group and with having small chance would be focussing to get unexpected surprising result. Adana Demirspor has players who have experience at title race.

Adana Demirspor are being currently surprising leaders of the Super League as it is providing strong effective positive performance without forgetting its defensive game and hence provides some signs of having good season.

It needs to be mentioned that with head coach being Vincenzo Montella who does have good experience at Serie A and also having pretty quality squad it should not be seen as big surprise. Most of the players at the squad as been noted has experience at playing at top clubs fighting for title in their domestic leagues, so plays are used for such atmosphere as among that team has shown some good togetherness among players and technical staff. Even through some supporters might provide some pressure to team during possible title race, it would not recieve much of it from Turkish football media which would be an advantage for them.

Adana Demirspor are showing pretty effective performance and it needs to be focussed with such level of performance to stay at title race for rest of the season.

Basaksehirspor is only side not to concede goal so far.

With 7 weeks being played at Super League so far, with Basaksehirspor playing 6 games, it is being only side not to concede goal which shows effectiveness with defence attacking football. 

Even through there were some criticism towards Besiktas and Antalyaspor performance of the side, it is true that level of performance wasnt as satisfactorily for them it would be pretty early and tough to team to talk about generally decline especially when looking how it has performed against Fiorentina. Even through Basaksehirsor doesnt have much supporters and also media coverage compare to big 4 sides, there is still expectation for side to fight for title with taking account that it has won league title some years ago.  Fenerbahce is only side to show top level European football in league.

Fenerbahce continues having an impressive performance during this season, especially at attack with scoring 20 goals so far making it most goalscoring season so far in its history, with 5 of them coming to Alanyaspor.

Without doubt, Fenerbahce head coach Jorge Jesus has brought an top European level performance from his side which were not seen from Turkish football. With lots of rotation, and playing games twice per week, Jorge Jesus didnt provide any complaints and so didnt players. He also brought rotation which is not usual in Turkey, and even been used has been unsuccessful, as  with such system he is being able to keep every player to play and also provides unexpectedness and difficulty to prepare for opponents. Fenerbahce has dominated whole game against Alanyaspor and didnt let opponents not only to show counter-reaction but also show any signs that it is capable to show it.

Fenerbahce is right now being only side which shows top level performance in the league, and has all signs to continue like this after national team break.

Trabzonspor still are not at top level performance.

Trabzonspor has managed to turn around and show great comeback from 2:0 to win Gaziantep with 3:2 scoreline but it needs to be mentioned that there still in level they would like to.

Fenerbahce showed attacking dominance for 90 minutes against Alanyaspor

Fenerbahce continues showing an impressive attacking both in Turkey and in Europe as it got confident win against Alanyaspor with 5:0 scoreline as it has dominated game from 1st whistle of the game until final.

As it is known, especially in Turkish football there is seems to be decline with performance and tempo at the league following European games, but this wasnt case with Fenerbahce as it looked like Istanbul giant didnt have difficult away game against Rennes only 3 days ago. This without doubt has been due of works of Jorge Jesus, players responding to this demands and also rotation which doesnt do harm do playing level. Fenerbahce has started game with fast goal scored by Rossi which without doubt provided even more confidence to the side as it keep looking into chances. Another important factor without doubt has been for goals to be coming from different players which does show into goal scoring abilities of forward and midfielders. Another factor, which to some extend has been first time during this season, Fenerbahce has continued looking for goals and dominating game regardless what was scoreline, rarity in Turkish football too. 

It needs to be stated that so far Alanyaspor performance has not been in level which have seeked for so they did come as underdogs but playing against top club there were expectation it would aim to show some reaction at game but it did look pretty passive for most time.

Trabzonspor has won game even if it was losing 2:0 at 10th minute.

Trabzonspor has managed to get win against very tough and high tempo game against Gaziantep with 3:2 scoreline thanks to the Marc Bartra even through they did go behind with 2:0 scoreline within 10 minutes.

It needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor had surprising poor start of the game, as Gaziantep has taken whole game into control with finding 2 fast goals from Maxim and Markovic and has shown that it did come out for a win, but Trabzonspor did respond pretty quick on 14th minute which led for them to get also within game during whole performance. Gaziantep meanwhile without doubt had perfect start, with going ahead in first 10 minutes and did show some control of the game but after 2:1 start showing more careful game and even if did show attacking game, it did lose control of hte game which led them to lose game.

Besiktas are having serious decline with tactical side of game

Besiktas continues with showing its decline of performance and tactically as it got surprising draw against Istanbulspor with 2:2 scoreline despite of winning game twice and shows some signs of criticism towards coach Valerien Ismael.

Foremost, it needs to be mentioend that due of red card from previous decision, Valerien Ismael wasnt in his position so he couldnt affect directly to the game but it needs to be mentioned that tactically Besiktas did have some issues so he does play some role with such role. Besiktas performance it needs to be mentioned has become much more passive and low tempo and most surprising when going ahead twice during game, it has shown relaxation which led for Istanbulspor to find 2 goals.  Istanbulspor has got surprising result against Besiktas.

Istanbulspor has got suprising result against Besiktas as it got 2:2 draw with providing strong and confident performance against Istanbul giants and even through didnt provide necesarrily top level performance, it has shown strong confident performance.

It needs to be mentioned that Besiktas did struggle to get full control of the game and did lack concentration as normally to all respect with Istanbulspor would be expected to be getting confident game. Therefore, Besiktas did have decline among fast tempo which been case in first game as it did found an interesting openning goal from free kick as it is been indirect shot but let for Nkoudou to be shooting directly while interesting Istanbulspor goalkeeper tried to save which led for him to get conceded goal. Another factor is too much relaxation of the game when it got ahead of both times which led for Istanbulspor to be finding 2 goals. It needs to be mentioned that if there is signs of physical tiredness of Besiktas, then this national team break would go into their hand. There is also been decline by Wout Weghorst as he didnt provide too much pressure to Istanbulspor goal during whole game as was case in last week.

With Istanbulspor being struggling side and not providing top league level performance, it has shown strong character and fighting spirit during whole game and got strong comeback both times. This fighting spirit would be crucial point for upcoming weeks.

Galatasaray gets 3 points against tough Konyaspor.

Galatasaray has won Super League 7th week game against Konyaspor with 2:1 scoreline as their opponents didnt complete single goal until this game and has entered to national team break with good motivation.

Galatasaray didnt necesarrily provide very strong performance during 90 minutes especially during 2nd half as it did lose high tempo which it did shown at 1st half but has managed to get win as Konyaspor has shown parallel performance during game and quality factor. In fact, it could be noted that game has been played with two halves, as first half did show top level high tempo game which led for both sides to get tired during 2nd half. Meanwhile, it has been important for Sergio Oliviera to find his openning goal at 1st minute of the game as he has been unlucky during previous games with getting posts 5 times in duration of 6 games. Also, Mauro Icardi played 30 minutes and with strong pressure let for Calvi to score an own goal.

Galatasaray has ended unconceded run of Konyaspor.

Galatasaray has won against Konyaspor during Super League 2nd week game with 2:1 scoreline as Konyaspor has conceded first 2 goals in this season but still has shown strong and confident performance.

It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray has started game at very high tempo which led for Sergio Oliviera to find his 1st goal for his team and hence ending his unlucky period of getting crosses. It was expected that by finding such an early goal, Galatasaray would be dominating game for whole game and it did have an upper hand for few minutes but Konyaspor pretty soon got game into control of the game and has found a goal at 15th minute. After that game has been played at upper hand, and even through Galatasaray chances has been pretty dangerous ones but Konyaspor did also get lots of chances which does show that side does need to improve with defensive game. Meanwhile, Mauro Icardi did come out as substitute during 2nd half and has played an important role with 2nd goal as with his pressure has led for Konyaspor to score an openning goal. Hence, Icardi has shown some positive performance during 1st game with coming to field and provides signs for future.

Konyaspor meanwhile did provide pretty strong performance and even through did concede its first 2 goals of season, did provide lots of pressure and has shown that its not on 1st spot in the league prior to start of the week with showing top level game and shows some important signs for future.

Galatasaray does need to improve with some game play but it is being on right track and would be expected to be even better after national team break. 

Fenerbahce got impressive draw against Rennes.

Fenerbahce has got an important draw aganst Rennes with providing memorable comeback after 2:0 at 54th minute and could even win game as momentum was on their side at the end of the game.

It needs to be mentioned that game has been played at very high tempo as both sides did aim to get win from start of the game and hence provided lots of pressure to each other goals. Only issue at the Fenerbahce side could be due of some mistakes at defensive game letting Rennes to get some chances and also 2 goals which been conceded in such manner. However, Fenerbahce without doubt has shown strong fighting spirit and reaction after 2:0 with providing forward-seeking performance which is being big bonus to the side in upcoming games. Of course, goal which been scored by Irfan Can Kahveci deserves lots of attention to.

Fenerbahce has shown great comeback against Rennes.

Fenerbahce has got very important draw against Rennes as the game has been played at very exciting tempo and pace as both sides has fought for win especially during 2nd half with aim to be favourite right now for knockout stages from both clubs. 

It needs to be mentioned that it was clear that both sides has been looking for win when game has started as both sides did look for high number of chances but it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce did provide some issues at defensive game as it allowed for Rennes to create some opportunities and attacks. However, it has provided some good attacking performance and it needs to be mentioned that it has been important for Fenerbahce to turn around game from 2:0 to 2:2 scoreline, especially as it has conceded between 51st - 54th minute but Irfan Can Kahveci great goal on 60th minute has changed game into hand for Fenerbahce and also red card towards end let for side to find equaliser. This game still showed that Fenerbahce has some defensive issues but does have good attacking game.

Rennes has provided more controllable game during 1st half but start showing much more attacking and aggresive game which led for them to find with good counterattacks and has found 2:0 leadership but Fenerbahce showed great comeback.

Trabzonspor has got an important win during Europa League 2nd week against one of the leading Balkan side, Crvena Zvezda, with 2:1 scoreline and got first 3 points of this campaign with providing much more attacking game and using its home ground.

It needs to be mentioned that even through its been a home win and its support did play an important role, stadium hasnt been able to be filled as expected which could be showing some signs of distrust from supporters. Fenerbahce will be aiming to get second win out of 2 games as it would be meeting with Rennes which has also won on previous week against AEK Larnaca which does turn into crucial game for both side.

Even through when looking at the squads, Fenerbahce team does look to be having more experienced players, Rennes players are also focussed to provide strong and positive game with providing some pressure so therefore this game could be tough one for Fenerbahce. Basaksehirspor stopped Besiktas with strong effective defensive game.

Besiktas has lost its first league game during this season against Basaksehirspor, however this should not be seen as big surprise as their opponents didnt concede any goal yet. However, what makes this outcome to be surprising is that Besiktas showed ineffective attacking game.

During whole game, it needs to be mentioned that Besiktas has provided an attacking game with creating high number of the chances while Basaksehirspor has been focussed into providing strong and effective defensive game. In fact, it had only one shot on the goal which did end with goal from Traore as side did use mistake at midfield from Salih Ozcan who made passing mistake which started game. It is reported that Besiktas has offered 2-year extension contract to its player Ersin Destanoglu as it is reported that sides have internal crises right now.

It is reported that Ersin Destanoglu is requested extension contract with salary rise but Besiktas is unwilling to do so due of economical reasons and this is being main reason why he is not playing for last 2 weeks. Besiktas couldnt pass Basaksehirspor defence as it lost its 1st game of season.

Besiktas loses first game during this season as Basaksehirspor continues its league without conceding goal and has proved why its being one of them, as it has shown strong and organised defensive game for 90 minutes.

It needs to be mentioned that Besiktas has provided high tempo and attacking game for 90 minutes with creating high number of the chances but Basaksehirspor has showed strong defensive game without letting Besiktas to feel confident. It needs to be mentioned that Besiktas did come out for victory and has made all plans accordingly as it pushed game forward for 90 minutes with going through especially fast during midfield. Despite of conceding goal from Traore, it has only led for one chance to the opponent which could be due both with how focussed Besiktas been on attack as has been mentioned above and also game plan of Basaksehirspor which been focussed to prevent. It needs to be mentioned also that both Weghorst and Nkoudou which did get some opportuniites did look to be quiite ineffective at the attack and lacked last touches compare to previous games.

Adana Demirspor has got well-deserved win against Trabzonspor with 3:2 scoreline as it has dominated whole game with creating high number of the chances among scoring 3 goals and provided lots of pressure to Trabzonspor.

Trabzonspor as it is known has poor start of this season as it fails to not only get results in recent weeks but also to get an organised and effective performance which it has shown in previous season. Being in such condition, meeting with Adana Demirspor which is being without doubt one of the in form team and especially at away would provide difficult performance. Trabzonspor tried to show some reaction compare to previous games and it has managed to do that as it did find equaliser twice during game and arguably didnt have time from 3rd conceded as it came on last minute of the game. Therefore, this fighting spirit would make head coach Abdullah Avci but when looking as whole performance, Trabzonspor is still being far from previous season. Galatasaray has difficult but positive win against Kasimpasa.

Galatasaray has got an important win against Kasimpasa with 3:2 scoreline in the sense of confidence for upcoming weeks and self-belief as game has been played in high tempo with Kasimpasa also aiming to show some positive game. 

It needs to be mentioned that start of the game for Galatasaray has not been very good as among conceding first during game as early as 16th minute, it has also failed to get upper hand of the game. However, after conceding it did show some good reaction with led for Bafetembi Gomis scoring on 20th minute as he continues to take lion share of scoring goals for this team. Stating that, the player of the game and main role for Galatasaray to win this game should be given to Kerem Akturkoglu who found 2 goals in 2nd half and has generally showed strong hunger at the front which especially been case during 2nd half. With main transfers still not being ready to be playing for Galatasaray, it has been hence important for Galatasaray to get win game and raise confidence.
