Trabzonspor got confidence boost for title race while Galatasaray gets closer to relegation zone.
Trabzonspor got very important win for its race for top spot as it did find 2 winning goals during last 6 minutes with Bakasetas and Visca and regained important confidence and motivation after 2 draws while Galatasaray with such loss has found itself just 3 points away from relegation zone.
Trabzonspor it needs to be mentioned didnt have very good start of the game with letting Galatasaray to get full control of the game with side not being able to provide any response and did provide look that it couldnt let them get an upper hand of the game. To some extend, it made even stronger look that Trabzonspor is being under pressure from previous 2 weeks but it has turned around its performance during 2nd half with providing full tempo into Galatasaray as it being rise but still had issues with last shots. However, Trabzonspor did get what it was found with very good shot from Anastios Bakasetas who scored his 1st goal since October and in such important game while Edin Visca did from mistake of Taylan Antalyali and possibly found goal which could lead them to title.
In other hand, Galatasaray did have very good start of the game and did provide view that this could become turnining point game for them with them showing best half since Gabriel Torrent has joined side but things did change during 2nd half with Galatasaray start showing some mistakes which did lead to also mistakes to Trabzonspor which been unexpected positions. Galatasaray possibly did provide its best performance since Gabriel Torrent has joined side but towards end it did provide very simple mistakes with conceding goals from very simple mistakes. Hence, Galatasaray continues providing poor performance with conceding simple goals. Without doubt, it would need to use national team break to rise motivation and confidence for after break games to get rid of relegation pressure.
Trabzonspor did get very important 3 points with keeping 9 points, and having game in hand, with Konyaspor and got very important confidence while Galatasaray continues showing some worrying signs for rest of the season.
Fenerbahce has won 1 point against Sivasspor.
Fenerbahce has shown 2 different halves during Super League game against Sivasspor and has been side which should be happy with getting 1 point from such difficult fixture at one of the coldest city.
When looking how both sides did performance during 2nd half, it could be stated that Sivasspor as side is being in much better condition right now and created much more opportunities. It is true that Fenerbahce been side which has dominated 1st half and could ended game during 1st 45 minutes but this in all fairness did happen due of Sivasspor providing much more economical and to some extend precaution game as it did show its been better side at 2nd half by creating much more dangerous positions and dominating game while Pedro Henrique did score very impressive goal from free-kick. Fenerbahce continues to be on crises despite of signs of willingness during 1st half but needs to focus to show this game for 90 minutes.
Upcoming national team break would provide good opportunitiy for Fenerbahce to get closer into desired level as it continues its fight for 2nd spot in the league.
Besiktas attacking needs to improve.
Besiktas did provide much better performance compare to last-spot Yeni Malatyaspor but since side continues to have issues with conversion of opportunities did end game in draw where it has dominated.
Besiktas did look for opportunities even through it did rise tempo of the game too much during 90 minutes but as been noted it did have lack of converting them into goals. There were some comments by pundits that Besiktas did everything right during game and been unlucky, but drawing game where it has dominated and only finding 1 goal does show that issue is being with attackers performance which needs to be included or get transfer of good attacker during this midseason transfer window. Otherwise it would continue having issues either to win confidently or even to win them. Besiktas are not losing with Onder Karaveli but there is decline with performance in recent weeks.
Besiktas is being at decline right now and to solve this key looks to be at improvement of attackers and it needs to find solution during this national team break.
