Gabriel Torrent needs to study and get adopted for Turkish Super League.
Galatasaray has lost to Hatayspor with 4:2 scoreline with conceding 3 goals on 2nd half without reply as first game in Turkey for Gabriel Torrent didnt go as planned at all, as he needs some time to get used to this league.
Galatasaray did provide some good start of the game providing some good attacking game with organision which Torrent did wish for as their did find 2 goals and penalty kick which wasnt converted van Aaholdt. However, with Hatayspor providing some changes in game plan during 2nd half to some extend did affect to the rest of the game. One of the issues for Galatasaray has been to focus into more attacking game which did push defenders slighly more ahead which led for Hatayspor to look for opportunities with counter attacks which it did use effectively especially with Lobjanidze whose main strength is sprint and he used this advantage with finding 2 goals at counter-attacks. It would bit slightly unfair to criticise Torrent since he arrived this week at league which he is likely not to be familiar with but he needs to adapt his tactics in future if he doesnt want to get similar results.
It is clear that Gabriel Torrent tried to adapt his style of game to Super League game but this system didnt work well at all for him.
Besiktas will have tough game against Fatih Karagumruk.
Besiktas would be playing against Fatih Karagumruk during Super League 22nd week game as it would be aiming to show stronger game which it shown against Gaziantep.
Without doubt, Besiktas is getting into new chapter with Onder Karaveli been appointed as club head coach and did provide at least some willingness and belief from players which it is expected to carry on against Fatih Karagumruk. Another important development for side has been for many players to be recovered from Covid19 and Karaveli would have opportunity to come out to the game with ideal squad and hence does have some difficult condition to work with as he might put into substitutions some of young players who showed strong performance into subsitution or start with them as prize for good performance in this 2 games. It is being difficult decision by Karaveli which he would need to make against tough opponent.
Besiktas are coming out to the game with good motivation for Fatih Karagumruk but opponent is expected to give some difficult moments to them also.
Antalyaspor signs Fernando Lucas Martins for 1.5 years
Antalyaspor has signed midfielder Fernando Lucas Martins for 1.5 years who is expected to provided needed strength to the midfielding area which as been mentioned many times is one of the most positions in this league.
Lucas Martins does have very good experience in his footballing career which could provide needed strength to Antalyaspor for upcoming games especially taking account that in recent weeks side is being on decline and needs to get some good results right now. Therefore, him joining side would provide needed strength but still it does need to make some more transfers to stay away from danger of being relegated which it starts feeling right now.
This been effective transfer from Antalyaspor but as been noted it needs to do some more and we would follow how it would go for them.
