Besiktas gets win against Gaziantep with Batshuayi goal
Besiktas has won Super League 21st week game against Gaziantep with minumum scoreline of 1:0 without necessarily providing very strong performance but still its been crucial for morale to get win following new signing of its head coach Onder Karaveli for long time.
It needs to be noted that even through Besiktas continues to show some good performance in recent weeks with Karaveli, it still didnt get win for 2 weeks which could have some unwanted effects to the side in recent weeks but still it did get win with Michy Batshuayi scoring goal as he tends to be missing good opportunities in recent weeks and this goal would provide some motivation and confidence. Still, Besiktas did get important win as it could be focussing into possible European football spots and possibly aim for 2nd spot if it gets into some winning streak.
Gaziantep on their part didnt provide bad performance as for most time it managed to keep game into balance but it didnt necesarilly provide too much pressure and creativity in attack which cost them win.
Besiktas did get important win and now could be focussing into starting winning streak in upcoming weeks.
Trabzonspor will have tough game against Sivasspor.
Trabzonspor would be aiming to get one step closer to title as it would be having tough game against Sivasspor until serious cold condition in northern city.
Right now, Sivasspor is being side which is being from coldest region in Turkey among Super League sides, which could provide some effect into whole game as Turkish clubs tend to be struggling in such condition as there is possibility of snowing even during game which is being one of the reason why game will be played in daytime. In addition, Sivasspor is being one of the tough side to play against at any condition so it would be tough game for them and much more difficult compare to Yeni Malatyaspor. Additional, interest would be given to Edin Visca who would be debutting for his new club.
Trabzonspor are being favourites but it would not be easy game for them at all.
Ismail Kartal would start with Fenerbahce against Antalyaspor
Fenerbahce newly-elected Ismail Kartal would start his 6-month coaching period with struggling Antalyaspor which is being in big decline in recent weeks.
Fenerbahce does have some serious problems with believing itself and hence this would be first opportunity for Kartal to provide some confidence boost to players with Antalyaspor to some extend is being opponent which could provide that needed boost. It would be interesting how side would be responding in tactical and performance wise. Meanwhile, Antalyaspor also could see this game as turning point for themselves.
In this game it would be more interesting to see how Fenerbahce would respond with Kartal becoming new coach.
