What happened in Turkish football today? 21/01/2022

Galatasaray is getting worser with Torrent right now.

Galatasaray continues its huge decline in the league as it did lose this time to Kasimpasa which even through were below Istanbul giants, does provide much better performance in recent weeks while Galatasaray is being 4 points above relegation zone.

Even through without doubt things didnt go as was hoped for with Fatih Terim during this season, it needs to be noted that performance wise Galatasaray is even in much worser performance with Gabriel Torrent as he is struggling to get maximum potential from his side due of being new and also unfamiliarity with Turkish Super League. Kasimpasa in other hand did look to be better side with much strong willingness with its performance with showing confident strong performance and rising its performance after conceding 1st which is not character by mediocre sides after their concede first. Even through some time should be given to Torrent, he needs to act fast to find ways to get maximum results if he doesnt want to find himself at relegation zone in upcoming weeks.

It is being questionable if team would show strong game against Trabzonspor but upcoming national team break will give opportunity to Torrent to solve this issue.

Fenerbahce will have issues against Sivasspor.

Fenerbahce will be coming out to Super League game against Sivasspor against difficult opponent and difficult weather conditions as there is possibility for game even to be postponed.

It needs to be stated that there is expectation of heavy snowfall during this weekend in most of the Turkey, and Sivasspor being arleady one of the coldest city in country, there would be expected for more snow to fall there compare to other cities with degrees going into negative. With Fenerbahce not providing generally good performance in recent weeks but looking for start showing one, this game could be problematic one as it would need to focus focussing more into tactical game. With Sivasspor being more used into this condition, it would be coming out slightly more into advantage condition for sure.

Fenerbahce would need to improve its game after Altay win but conditions in Sivas could provide come issues to achieve this on field.

Besiktas expects to have tough game against Yeni Malatyaspor

Besiktas would be coming out to Yeni Malatyaspor game in similar conditions as would be Fenerbahce at Sivasspor with game also being in the risk to be postponed prior to kick-off.

During mid-week period game been postponed in the Malatya and the city in fact been most discussed as cars at the road which were entering to city has been stucked so with more snowfall expected prior to game, there is danger that the game would be entirely postpoend. Coming to the game, Besiktas is being right now in very good form providing good results but still does have issue with showing top performance in 90 minutes showing sign of tiredness in last 30 minutes in last games. In weather conditions which would be played without doubt players would need to provide even more stamina so it would be important for players to be ready both physically and mentally to game for sure.

Besiktas would be coming out to the tough game against good opponent and also in difficult weather conditions.
