Antalyaspor has terminated contract with Enzo Crivelli

Antalyaspor has terminated contract with its player Enzo Crivelli as player is expected to be transferred to Saint Etienne during this transfer break as sides are close to make deal.

Even through Enzo Crivelli did show strong performance in Basaksehirspor during previous season he did struggle to repeat such game at Antalyaspor and didnt provide much expected strength to the side which could be due of him not being suitable in the system, not being happy at the club or some other reasons so this decision for sure would be good development for all parties and would open opportunitiy to Crivelli to continue his career in better condition for him while for Antalyaspor will open posibility to fill space with player which more suitable to them.

Right now, Antalyaspor likely to look for ways to fill space of Enzo Crivelli for rest of this transfer window.

Altay has appointed Tuna Uzumcu in place of Ibrahim Akin in place of sports director.

Altay has changed its sports director with appointing Tuna Uzumcu after on same ending contract with Ibrahim Akin as side been unsatisfied with works which has been done with Akin.

Altay did have very good start of the season which been followed with huge decline later in the season and right now club looks into reasons why this have been taken place and hence going through some changes as first it did change coaches twice during season and now has appointed new sports director. It needs to be mentioned that Akin has been among names which been hit hard during match-fixing scandal with not playing for number of seasons due of ban but does have some good history with Altay so it would be dissapointing for leaving side and he did do some good stuff. Right now Uzumcu would have difficult job to keeping side once again on its feet.

Hence, Tuna Uzumcu would be coming into difficult period of the club as he would be looking for solutions to recent issues in the club.

Rizespor interested to loan Burak Kapacak.

Rizespor are interested to transfer Fenerbahce player Burak Kapacak who didnt get enough playing time and due of young age without doubt needs to get some playing time so its logicial for him to be loaned.

Rizespor meanwhile is having tough season right now and hence does look into names which would be able to push side into getting more desired football and get out from relegation zone and Kapacak with being player with full potential does have opportunity to show his level for rest of the country and help side to get results which club needed. Kapacak has been transferred to Fenerbahce with high hopes and did recieve some playing time but did have difficulty with showing high level performance even through he wasnt really bad and did show that he has potential. Hence, it would been good move for all parties if he moves to Rizespor.

Galatasaray has made transfer deal with Inaki Pena.

Galatasaray has loaned Barcelona B player Inaki Pena until end of the season as player would be expected to take place of one of the key goalkeepers while Fernando Muslera injury would be continued.

One of the main issues during this season has been poor performance of Fernando Muslera, as one of the best goalkeepers in Turkey is being currently injured and his injury is expected to be continued for long time and hence with poor performance of alternatives, one of the main focus during this mid-season period has been to find alternative for him. Even through Pena is being from 2nd side of Barcelona, with getting strong background and coming out from one of the leading academy in the world there is been strong expectations from him.  With taking account also financial situations and difficulty to find good goalkeeper in this period, Pena does look to be good alternative for them.

Therefore Pena does have potential to become good player for the side but he does need to get some playing time in this period. 

Al Taiwoon has loaned Galatasaray player Cristian Luyindama until of the season.

Al Taiwoon has loaned Galatasaray player Cristian Luyindama as he has been one of the players with who club was considering to end contract with during this summer but did have issues to find good transfer deal.

Luyindama did have mix performance at Galatasaray during his stay during which he did show some very good performance and played important role for side to win while in other games he made mistakes which solely did cost his team win. So it should be treated seen normal for Galatasaray focussing this mid-season transfer window to sell him and without deal to be made with different clubs, he has been loaned to Al Taiwoon until end of the season with option to transfer as without doubt this deal does show his decline of performance when looking which side he did join.

Luyindama didnt show very good performance in his club and hence now he would be focussing into remind his level of performance at Al Taiwoon as he been in decline lately.

Trabzonspor has reported that 1 player got positive Covid 19 test result as danger of Omicron is still taking place both in Turkish community and also among football clubs.

Right now, sadly, number of daily cases is getting closer to 100,000 and there is still some relexation been done by general public which doesnt affect much positively to this numbers but good news there is been high number of vaccinated people in Turkey and most people does get it fast even through there is not low amount of deaths sadly. Basaksehirspor has loaned Salih Ucan until end of the season.

Basaksehirspor has loaned Besiktas player Salih Ucan as player didnt recieve high amount of the play time with current league winners and hence would be focussing into getting previous form with Basaksehirspor.

It needs to be mentioned that Salih Ucan being strong and quality player, doesnt provide continiuous performance even through not getting enough of playing time at the Besiktas after coming from successful season from Alanyaspor has affected to this without doubt. Without doubt, Basaksehirspor would be good opportunity for him as he would be getting some playing time in the ambitious side and would be able to prove himself while Basaksehirspor did purchase player which always have potential and capacity to show good performance. Therefore, this been good move where player has opportunity to get into previous level.

With Basaksehirspor still looking for Edin Visca replacement, Ucan in strong performance could fill this gap to some extend.

Trabzonspor has signed new contract with Gervinho which would go in effect in summer.

Trabzonspor did sign new contract with Gervinho next day after terminating previous one as it would be starting from July 2022 as he is currently being injured and this been pretty unusual tactics to which player has agreed.

With Gervinho being currently injured and not being able to provide help such deal has been made for club not providing salary to the player which is not playing and it is being pretty impressive from player to agree on this deal as it would be seen loss to him. Antalyaspor has signed Al Ahli Cidde player Alessandro Ndao who has played in pretty successful manner in Fatih Karagumruk during previous season.

Altay has appoint Serkan Ozbakta until end of the season.

Altay has appointed Manisa head coach Serkan Ozbakta until end of the season after next day appointing Mert Nobre who it did sack only after 3 days and hence this would be difficult period for Ozbakta.

It would be interesting to see if Altay would be providing patience to the coach who doesnt have any experience in the Super League with joining side which is being currently at relegation zone with 8 points at the team which didnt show much patience with Nobre. Only advantage for Ozbakta is that he did play at this club around 20 years and hence has some connection with club and very likely with supporters which would provide some stronger support and patience but without doubt Ozbakta did come to the club which are being in difficult situation and it would be interesting how side would perform.

Serkan Ozbakta does have difficult task and it would be important for Altay to show much more patience to him compare to Mert Nobre.

Rizespor transfers Eren Albayrak for 2.5 +1 years.

Rizespor has transferred Eren Albayrak for 2.5 +1 years only after few hours when he has terminated contract with Antalyaspor as he would be hoping to continue showing good performance in his new team helping them to get further from relegation zone.

Without doubt Rizespor is being one of the problematic sides during this season even through it did show some improvements with performance during recent games and purchasing Eren Albayrak could provide lots of help to achieve such task at the team as he is being more or less in level of this side with becoming one of the key players very likely. Altay has terminated contract with Mert Nobre after 3-games.

Turkish clubs negative tradition of sacking coaches continues as this time Altay has terminated contract with its head coach Mert Nobre only after 3 weeks since he joined side.

It is true that with Altay which is being at relegation zone and point difference from safe zone is being 8 points and Mert Nobre not getting any win in this period has made things much more difficult but it needs to be noted that he did take quite problematic time and didnt have enough time to let team to show strong performance. Stating that time is being here key word, as this being main reaction from club administrative part in this country clubs. Trabzonspor has got important turn against Galatasaray for title ambitions.

Trabzonspor has got strong motivational boost following win against Galatasaray during Super League 23rd week with scoring 2 goals in duration of 6 minutes in the end of the game while Ugurcan Cakir has become key player of the game.

It needs to be mentioned that possible with decline of performance during recent weeks Trabzonspor didnt provide very good performance during 1st half letting Galatasaray to get control of the game and found penalty goals and did provide some worries of the performance by leaders.  Besiktas got away win for very long time but didnt show great game.

Besiktas has got its first game in the away game after long time as it beat Fatih Karagumruk with finding goal thanks once again with Michy Batshuayi from penalty kick, but still provided some worrying game in last 30 minutes of the game.

Besiktas did start game as it does in recent way in strong manner with creating opportunities but as game continued both due of tiredness and wrong substitutes from Onder Karaveli there were some scary 30 minutes for the side. Besiktas still did provide strong willingness during whole game with providing attacking game while opponent did provide also unexpectedly passive game until end of the game. Still, one of the possible aspects for Besiktas that it has raised to 3rd place with having game in hands but still being 15 points behind Trabzonspor with opponent having game in hand. Besiktas getting back-to-back with Onder Karaveli is for sure being positive development but he needs to figure out why side loses in last 30 minutes.

Gabriel Torrent needs to study and get adopted for Turkish Super League.

Galatasaray has lost to Hatayspor with 4:2 scoreline with conceding 3 goals on 2nd half without reply as first game in Turkey for Gabriel Torrent didnt go as planned at all, as he needs some time to get used to this league.

Galatasaray did provide some good start of the game providing some good attacking game with organision which Torrent did wish for as their did find 2 goals and penalty kick which wasnt converted van Aaholdt. However, with Hatayspor providing some changes in game plan during 2nd half to some extend did affect to the rest of the game. One of the issues for Galatasaray has been to focus into more attacking game which did push defenders slighly more ahead which led for Hatayspor to look for opportunities with counter attacks which it did use effectively especially with Lobjanidze whose main strength is sprint and he used this advantage with finding 2 goals at counter-attacks. It would bit slightly unfair to criticise Torrent since he arrived this week at league which he is likely not to be familiar with but he needs to adapt his tactics in future if he doesnt want to get similar results.

It is clear that Gabriel Torrent tried to adapt his style of game to Super League game but this system didnt work well at all for him.

Besiktas will have tough game against Fatih Karagumruk.

Besiktas would be playing against Fatih Karagumruk during Super League 22nd week game as it would be aiming to show stronger game which it shown against Gaziantep.

Galatasaray lost to Hatayspor despite winning game with 2:1 scoreline after 1st half.

Galatasaray has lost Super League 20th week game against Hatayspor with 4:2 scoreline despite of ending 1st half with lead of 2:1 scoreline as 1st game for new coach Gabriel Torrent didnt go as planned.

It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray did provide in pretty positive manner as side did looked to be additional motivated with Gabriel Torrent with looking into opportunities and finding goal from Emre Kilinc who tend to score mostly at away game. In addition to this, Galatasaray also found disputable penalty position which was not scored by Patrick van Aanholdt following poor penalty shot, and later Hatayspor did score on penalty goal. Trabzonspor did get important 1 point against difficult opponent and conditions.

Trabzonspor has got  draw during Super League 21st week game against Sivasspor which shouldnt be seen as huge surprise as it is being one of the most difficult away games in the season especially in the winter.

Trabzonspor it needs to be mentioned didnt provide specifically dominant game during whole game as it did struggle to control it even through it did have some good moments and did find equaliser in few minutes after conceding as goal did come from Abdulkadir Omur who did score pretty impressive goal after 4 minutes from conceding. However, as been noted Trabzonspor didnt provide too much pressure towards Sivasspor defence but still did show good defensive game for 1st half while 2nd half been mainly dominated from snow which did go for around 20 minutes and has affected for both sides to provide strong defensive game. Therefore, it needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor didnt provide its best game but taking account its been difficult opponent and due of weather 1:1 could be seen as good outcome.

Sivasspor meanwhile did show signs that it did prepare for game intensely and did provide strong performance against league leaders with some moments getting upper hand and did provide signs of bright future.

Trabzonspor did gain 1 point as it did play against difficult opponent with difficult condition and did get one step closer to title despite of result.

Fenerbahce won despite of not providing high tempo game.

Fenerbahce continues with showing poor performance despite of getting 1 point against Fenerbahce with side didnt provide much dominance of the game and did lack tempo of the side even with Ismail Kartal coming out for 1st game.

Fenerbahce continues showing poor effective game without getting into too much opportunities in the front and hence did find class goal from Jose Sosa which did look like goal would be coming from classy shot which did come from player. Antalyaspor it needs to be stated did provide better game and when looking into field did look like side which did deserve win even more with creating high number of opportunities with self-belief, this character would affect positively to side in future.

Fenerbahce does have some difficult period in upcoming as it did lose its focus for title race and Kartal needs to motivate side which is not easy task.

Besiktas did get important win against Gaziantep in sense of self-motivation and confidence both for the side and Michy Batshuayi especially when taking account that player didnt provide good performance in recent weeks.

It needs to be noted that Besiktas didnt necessarily provide very good performance for 90 minutes during whole game and been especially low tempo for both sides during 1st half. It needs to be admitted that Besiktas did rise tempo during 2nd half but still it didnt get full dominance of the game while Gaziantep as side did provide strong organizing game but been poor in the attacking game lacking some creative.
