Besiktas continues getting results with Onder Karaveli
Besiktas continues showing top performance with Onder Karaveli this time winning Goztepe despite of losing with 1:0 scoreline with providing confident comeback thanks to the goals from Cyle Larin and Racchid Ghezzal.
Even through Besiktas is being currently pretty far from title race, it does provide best performance among top 3 clubs which been unexpectedly due of caretaker coach Onder Karaveli taking place of Sergen Yalcin and to some extend sending strong message to rest of the side showing that he has intention to stay at the club taking role. It could be noted that side did have issue with being fully focussed into its task from beginning which been affected as it conceded on 3rd minute from Goztepe as they started game in fast tempo but it did manage to show good reaction. Even through side does tend to get behind during game with Karaveli, but it did get behind each time which is being positive note for them as side showing fighting spirit.
Goztepe meanwhile needed to show some reaction due of recent poor results and did provide some good performance against Besiktas but didnt have enough side.
Besiktas is showing very strong performance with Onder Karaveli and it does look like he would be able to stay for long time.
Fenerbahce players minds were not on game
Fenerbahce continues showing poor results after sacking Vitor Pereira with this time it failing to beat Fatih Karagumruk despite of playing with 9-to-11 for 60 minutes.
It needs to be mentioned that when looking at the game in overall there was big decline of tempo which been shown by side following Vitor Pereira as it looked like players were not on field. It is true that even with 11-on-11, Fenerbahce did possess ball with high amount of passes but it is useless if there is hardly any shots on goal, let alone effective ones. Fenerbahce looked to be mentally in other places, and there would be without doubt lots of things to do for new head coach when he joins to side probably during midseason break. This performance from side is not acceptable at all.
Fenerbahce players didnt take game seriously at all and mentally ended this season.
Manuel Fernandes has terminated contract with Kayserispor
Kayserispor player Manuel Fernandes has terminated contract with his club Kayserispor as there were known to be disagreements between sides.
Manuel Fernandes didnt recieve much of playing time as he was known not to be very happy with his salary and in fact could be likely to be having transfer negotiations with number of clubs with getting close to deal if he has decided to end his contract with side. Taking account that Kayserispor didnt let him play a lot in recent week it would not be big loss for them even through they likely to look for replacement during mid-season transfer window.
This been expected move from Fernandes as mid-season window is getting close.
