Basaksehirspor has got important points for Turkey in Europe.
Basaksehirspor has become 1st Turkish club during this season to win at Europe at the group stages as it has managed to win Wolfsberger at Europa League 3rd week game thanks to the Irfan Can Kahveci goal on 78th minute.
Even through it is hard to state that Basaksehirspor did provide great performance during game especially on 1st half, it is still important win as it managed to get win against surprising side at this tough group and has led its opponent to get first loss in this group. With getting 4 points and beating Wolfsberger it has got into 2nd place with same points of their opponents and did get an important but small advantage for knockout stages but still it is difficult task to achieve when looking in positive manner. Even through Basaksehirspor has been disliked by most of fans for various reasons, it needs to be thankful to the and Kahveci as it became only team in this week at Europe to provide some country points which Turkey needs without doubt urgently right now and if other clubs doesnt provide that level performance which is expected from them then it would need to carry on this performance. This win meanwhile would provide great motivation and confidence for rest of this season, without doubt both in Europe and domestically especially prior to Trabzonspor game.
Basaksehirspor did mark an important win and likely this would be important message towards other Turkey clubs for Europe.
Besiktas needs to show different game if it wants to save season.
With new administration team been selected at Besiktas it has been expected that club would be providing much better game at Europa League group stage against Braga but it has lost game with 2:1 scoreline even through it did got chance to convert game with win.
Besiktas did got 1:1 scoreline on 71st minute with Umut Nayir which did provide some hope for club to get at least 1st point in this campaign and also penalty kick after 2 minutes which could provide important help for team to even win game. But Adem Ljajic interesting penalty shot which has got into post has led for team to lose morale which led for Braga to find winning goal. It could be argued that Besiktas did provide better performance compare to previous game but what is important here is that it didnt even get draw with such level of performance and hence once again means that Besiktas head coach need to sit down and go through his tactical performance and recognise what is going wrong, especially prior to crucial Galatasaray game on 27th October as this performance would lead to their opponents to be strong favourite for win. Abdullah Avci is even got support from CEO Ahmet Nur Cebi, it is not secure if results would be carry on being like that and he needs to be aware of that if he wants to stay here.
Team needs to change it style of play if it doesnt want to have dissastrous season like Fenerbahce did last year.
Trabzonspor is not providing expected performance at Europa League.
Trabzonspor has been expected to provide good performance during Europa League group stage game against Krasnodar who has come to game with 0 points but it didnt manage to get an upper hand.
It needs to be noted that Trabzonspor did manage to provide top level game during 1st half of the game but didnt manage to carry on this level of performance during 2nd half with Krasnodar getting upper hand of the game and finding 2 goals. It needs to be noted that even through Trabzonspor does provide good performance at domestic league it didnt manage to show similar performance at Europa League. Stating that it did play with strong opponent which could be seen in the level of Champions League with having big players and hence this loss could not be treated too surprisingly even through Trabzonspor did show some positive aspects during with its performance on the day. It does look like it would be providing much more attention to the Super League rather than Europa League and hence even through it does have chances to get to the knockout stages its been very slim as it needs to win all 3 games and hope for results to turn for them.
Trabzonspor is not providing performance which would been expected by them at Europa League and it needs to see ways how to improve its performance.
